The warm hosts, who immediately felt like friends, were available yet discreet. The large property was full of beautiful trees and with the Lubéron hills as a backdrop. We enjoyed the private swimming pool and barbecue area. The house and grounds were clean and comfortable and provided almost everything we needed (washing machine, drying rack, small soaps, slippers...). The landscape in this part of Provence is beautiful and there are many picturesque villages to explore in the surrounding area (although you would need a car, of course, since the house is in the countryside.)
We had a problem with mosquitoes during our stay (in August) and we were wondering if the lovely little fish pond near the house was contributing to the problem by providing a place for the mosquitoes to breed?
