Bright homey cottage in historic Island Heights, NJ overlooking the Toms River. Minutes to Lavallette and Seaside Park Beaches. Large Master bedroom on 2nd story with view. Large outside deck with built in outdoor Daybeds with Shade-Sails and a breathtaking view of the Tom's River. Island Heights is a quiet, Historic "Victorian Village" close to major shopping, Hospitals, and the famous Seaside Heights Boardwalk. The "Jersey Shore" Boardwalks and attractions are close (15min) yet seem very far away when you are nestled into your cozy cottage in the quaint little burrow of Island Heights. The downstairs enclosed deck is 99% glass, winterized with double panes and screens all around. This deck has a beautiful view of the water and the boats cruising the Tom's River. When the weather is right open all of the windows and take a nap on the daybed to the relaxing nautical din of the Tom’s River with the far-off sound of children playing. Kitchen set up to cook gourmet dinners to serve on a large dining room table. Newly Renovated boardwalk next to the house overlooking the river. New Public dock 100 feet from the house. This home was in an amazing location. We’ve rented several houses in Island Heights and this was by far our favorite. Helene made sure every one of our needs was meet from the time of check in to the time we left.

Our family felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. The view was spectacular, i didn't want to miss the sunset each day. Other than food, there was really very little that wasn't provided by the owner. Island Heights is a hidden gem for families looking for a safe quiet place to vacation with their children but close to the beach and boardwalk. We would love to come back next year.

Our hosts could not have been more gracious and accommodating. We arrived quite late and they met us with friendly faces and a basket of food, much appreciated after an 11 hour car ride. The house is warm, cozy and has every amenity you would need. The views of the river are amazing. We watched a college regatta on Saturday that was incredibly picturesque. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures didn’t do the house it’s actual justice. The view was amazing and the outside sitting area upstairs and downstairs were great for relaxing with others. Helene is an amazing house and there were no issues I would definitely rent this home again.
