Love the views!! Beautiful place to stay for get away i would go back for sure

It's a real log cabin. Wood inside is beautiful. Loved the loft area. The view from the main bedroom is amazing in the morning. Lots of wood for the fireplace which we loved sitting in front of at night.

Only 1 bathroom - we knew this before we rented. The kitchen sink also had a leak on the last day. I sent the property manager's local contact a text but he never responded so I just put one of the trash bins under there.

Beautiful cozy log house in a remote area of the White Mountains of New Hampshire! Comfortable and warm furnishings that welcome you the moment you walk in the door. The large bathroom shower with river rock floor always had excellent water pressure and nice hot water. A full kitchen of amenities to make you feel like a chef at home; gas stove/oven, full refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, dishes and utensils. There's even a big beautiful fireplace that the owner keeps stocked with timber for a warm cozy fire. The house is built with oversized logs; making the interior peacefully quiet with plenty of windows all around to view beautiful sun rises and sun sets over the mountain landscape. There is even an outdoor fire pit, gas grill and a solid log picnic bench in the backyard while you enjoy the sweet smell of natural balsam in the air. There is a pool table (that converts to a ping pong table), a foosball table and many board games downstairs to bring family and friends together on those unexpected rainy vacation days. There are a few single and double beds (one a bunk bed) in the upstairs bedroom and loft. A fold-out sofa bed and a larger bed in the master bedroom downstairs. The whole house was so well equipped, it often felt more like a second home than a time share or any hotel.

Overall, there wasn't anything I really didn't like - the property owners seemed to have gone well out of their way to ensure a clean and comfortable house for their guests - and it truly shows! It does take a little time getting use to staying in a house that has no window dressing (curtains, blinds, window tint, etc.), I found myself dimming or shutting off interior lights at night... which reminds me, the stone slab the antique stove is on in the kitchen could use a wood slope or something around it, in the dark it's easy to forget that it sticks up. But other than that, I would not hesitate to book this house again and again if it's available when I'm in that area, as a matter of fact, I like the house so much, that I'm seriously considering to have a similar log house built for myself!

As a family we had a blast being together for the weekend.

The oven caused the co2 alarm to go off. The hood vent is sealed off for the winter. The furniture is older than the logs used to make the house and there's a hearth in the kitchen that eats toes.
