Cedar Cabin nestled in the pines

Very comfortable home, excellent quality linens. This is a great place to get away from city life and unwind.

If you're primarily looking for a place to escape July 4 "explosions" with your dogs, this is it.During our stay there were zero explosions of any kind from July 1-8. We had a very peaceful stay an appreciated having no nearby neighbors.Hosts were communicative and helpful when needed. The following were all excellent: bird watching, WiFi, water quality, ice maker & noon checkout time.Upon arrival the dishwasher was labeled "out of order". This is a big deal. It means: rather than just starting the dishwasher & leaving the morning of checkout, you must wash all dishes.

Very spacious, lovely stay

This rental was large and the owner was very pleasant and had prepped for the large group that was going to there. First, the positives! The kitchen was pleasantly equipped with tools and pots and pans. The mattresses were mostly comfortable. The rooms were well able to accommodate large groups of people. The house was very clean. The reason for the 3 star review was mainly because of two pretty significant things. Firstly, there was no air conditioning and we were there in August and it was hot! Secondly, and really the biggest issue, was that rental check in and out times were both listed as being noon. Turns out, this was not the case. Check in is actually 4pm and check out is 11am. Neither of these would have been an issue if we’d known ahead of time. We could have rearranged travel schedules. Since this was a family reunion, I felt like we missed out on our last leisurely morning together because we were in a hurry to check out.
