Beautiful, oregon pine wooden house, in ten acre lot with its own river and woods. It is nestled in the mountains with a view of three volcanoes, including Villarica but close to Pucon, famous in Chile as a vacation centre with white water rafting, climbing, canopy, trekking, beach, artisan markets, and many more activities, including great nightlife and quality restaurants.
The house is within walking distance of spectacular waterfalls and native forests and within driving distance (10 minutes) of sandy beach of lake Caburga, thermal baths, and a national park. It is perfect for those of you who like to blend nature activities with relaxation.
The house is open plan with stone fireplace, several decks, and places to take the sun, read or barbecue. The living room has huge windows with views that change every day of volcanoes Villarica, Quetropellan and Lanin plus lush mountains full of native trees. It is fully-equipped to North American standards. Pucon has commercial airline access from Santiago in summer. Easy access to Argentina

We just returned from Pucon and loved staying at Robert's house. The views are breathtaking and the house is very spacious and well equipped. We found it to be a nice distance from town, easily accessible but still far enough away to enjoy some quiet.

We had a fabulous family christmas at this house. Interior space and log fire (for the couple of chilly eve's) were fab. Night sky view from the deck was fantastic. View of the volcanoes was good but trees begining to obscure the view so they may need trimming. Climbed Villarica and slid down, which was fantastic fun. Surrounding area fab views and great lake swimming. Enjoyed our stay.

We had so much fun at Palo Santo! The house is super comfortable, with great views of the volcanos around Pucon and very peaceful surroundings. Loved the sheeps and goats that came to greet us when we arrived, and that came each afternoon to graze around the house. We also loved the great kitchen, super well equipped - and that allowed us to feel like at home... We rented the house for a week, and wish we could have stayed for longer, it was so nice to be there.The Pucon / Villarrica / Caburga area has so much to offer - we did all that we could - we fished, hiked, swam, run, and ate delicious food. I loved the location of the house - closer to Caburga, in the backroads, which made it really peaceful. Robert (the owner) was so nice with us, he gave us a lot of advice on what to do while we were there, who to contact, etc - It was all super useful and made us feel like "at home".My whole family enjoyed this beautiful house and the surroundings, we are thankful that we could rent it... These are going to be great memories for all of us!
