Av Fonte Coberta, Lagos, Villa Fonte Coberta

Everything is good here. It’s comfortable, in a nice house with a lovely garden. We could park close by. The owner is really friendly and helpful, everything has been thought of to provide for your stay. When booking, we wondered about the location, but actually it’s an easy walk up to the excellent Continente supermarket, and slightly longer, maybe 10 minutes, to a couple of lovely bakery cafes, a couple of nice places to eat, and the waterside. The busy old town is a little further but a pleasant walk along the water watching the boats.

Everything was good. Be aware the walks to supermarket and town start along a busy road and the pavements are uneven. Not a problem if you’re reasonably mobile.

Very close to Lagos city center by car. Room was very spacious and clean. Has A/C as well which is definitely needed during summer. Frank was super responsive and gave great suggestions!

Nothing

The bathroom is very large and the room has a lot of storage where you can keep your thing organized. Although the location is not central, several supermarkets are reachable within a few minutes by car. Frank also provided us with smooth check-in even though we arrived late in the evening and gave us several tips,

Breakfasts are not included but the room does not have a kitchenette or anything to prepare the food. Frank gave us some dishes to eat the food from but we had to wash them in the bathroom sink each day instead of receiving clean plates. Also, we stayed for three nights but we did not receive a clean towel, bed linen, or anything even once which is okay for three days but I am not sure if any cleaning is provided if you stay longer. There is no AC and with windows open you can hear the main street. Lastly, the driveway to access the house is a dirt road without any signs marking the access point (There is a short driveway from the main street where you can park but for the "main" parking you have to go all the way around via a back street).
