Small charming house of 38 m2 lined with a buddy apartment of 32 m2 in Montmarte in a quiet courtyard near the shops, restaurants and Moulin Rouge.

You are in Montmartre and you can stroll around the Abesses district to get on the mound, arriving Place du Tertre, then reach the Sacre Coeur before going down by the funicular.
You are close to the Metro Blanche 'or metro' Abesses' that will take you quickly to all the historical monuments of Paris If we come by car you will have no problem to park the car park nearby
The cleaning will be done the day of your arrival between 11: 00 and 14: 00 pm, you can leave your luggage at 11.00 and return after 14

These two quintessential Paris apartments in the Montmartre neighborhood were perfect or our active family of 6. We did not spend much time in the apartments themselves, but they had all the amenities we would have needed beyond beds/sofa beds. The host was very communicative and helpful, including helping us with information to order a taxi for the trip to the airport. Several cafés and restaurants are nearby, as well as two metro stops.

The location was perfect for us…far enough but not to far from the center of Paris…close to metro and lots of food options. It well worked for our family of 7 with teenagers and the price was at least in our budget. Host provided some really helpful information to get us started since it was our first time in Paris. We were looking for clean and safe but not fancy place to stay…most of our days were out and about the city.

Very cold and humid apartments on ground level with no sheltering from the elements. There was black mold on the walls of one of the apartments. Also, first time staying at a place that doesnt provide soap for hand washing in the bathrooms. Will definitely not be returning.

The location was great and since the apts face an inner courtyard, it was incredibly quiet. But there was a leak on the floor in our bathroom, the cups and glasses were quite dirty, and the old Nespresso machine had probably never been cleaned once. The sofa was stained and old. The sofa bed, however, was very comfortable and the linens and towels were quite new. The proprieters were wonderful!!

The unit we rented was not what we expected. The owner was very nice and checked on us regularly but with a bit of effort this could be a great place. First there are a ton of stairs going to and from the two units. I did not realize that the units are not across from each other, they are down another flight of stairs. Carrying suitcases up and town with 3 kids and two grandparents can be challenging. The two units were not clean and smelled horrible. We opened windows but could not get the smell out. The showers had mold and mildew in them and hair from other guests. Not much effort in cleaning the place. The benefit of this place is that it is right in the middle of a great neighborhood with wonderful cafe’s, adorable stores and easy access to the underground. Please note that this place is very small but the owner could really put some effort into better linens and pillows to make the stay more enjoyable.

The location was perfect! It was an incredibly short walk to 3 different metro stops. There were so many great restaurants and bakeries one block away. Everything was close, even Sacre Coeur was only a 10 minute walk away. We really loved this neighborhood! We were 2 families each with 2 small children. The apartments are in the same building complex a staircase away. We loved having our own space and also being steps away from each other. The kitchens were stocked well enough for our needs. We especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the morning! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

This property is located a short walk from Abesses. Restaurants and shops are everywhere. Francois was helpful and thoughtful to all our needs. Claude met us at the property and Francois used the WhatsUp to communicate with us. He also provided us with helpful directions and taxi services to and from the airport. The sleeping was comfortable with room for all of us. The apartments were cozy and safe. I had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

This double apartment was a good deal for our two families. Both apartments are small - they were quite snug for nine of us, but when you compare to the cost of hotels for that number it's hard to beat. They would be perfect for two couples. One of the apartments could use some updating. We were in Paris during a terrible heat wave, and the apartments were quite comfortable. I saw another review that expressed some concerns with the neighborhood, especially for kids, but the immediate area is quite charming. Yes, you can take a wrong turn and end up in the red light district but otherwise it is convenient to the Metro - if you're strategic, you can make the walk downhill both ways. Overall, very happy with the place.

We very much enjoyed staying here! There are bakeries, creperies, green grocers and fabulous restaurants within a block, yet the apartment was nice and quiet. We made lots of use of the subway, which is also quite nearby.

We managed to sleep 8 young women in our party, on a short trip to Paris. The sofa-bed in each apartment's living room was fine, and there was a bedroom in each with a double bed. Although the apartments and the furnishings are old, everything was clean and working. Francois the owner, and Sue who looks after the property, were attentive and pleasant. We had a great stay - and right in the middle of bustling Montmartre!

The area was not bad, families with young children may need to be careful a bit since it is 2 blocks away from pigalle street where moulin rouge and other adult rated things are. Location was pretty solid, lots of good places to eat and close to Sacre Cour. The bad part is that the apartments were separated by stairs and only one apartment had internet working. Tried to ask Francois to get it fixed but for our entire 4 to 5 day trip it still didn't work, very frustrating when you have family complaining about not having internet and having 7 people cramming into one tiny apartment for internet to finish work and schooling stuff. Apartments are pretty small and was cramped for 7 but that is typical of Paris. In the end not bad of a place but hard to believe even after 3 days the wifi was still broken....

Simple apartments for two families

This unusual pair of apartments was perfect for our two-family (each with two adults and two teenagers) visit to Paris. The apartments are very similar in size, layout and facilities (although one has the washing machine, and the other has the dishwasher – so between you, its all covered!). The building is typical Parisian with a large secured door onto the street and internal courtyards which are SOOOOO quiet, its as if bustling Montmatre had vanished. The two apartments are not adjoining but are very close in adjacent courtyards, so close it wasn’t a problem. It gave each family a bit of privacy. There are no windows onto the street, only on the courtyards so very peaceful. The residents are all local French and so expect quiet from the tourists, which suited us. We found our neighbours to be friendly and helpful. The apartments were furnished acceptably, although a bit of a mixture and not very stylish, but clean. The open plan kitchen was very small but fine for a quick meal in the evening. Fridge was good, and there was some cupboard space for storage of food. More equipment would have helped and we struggled with the induction hob as only one pan seemed to be made of the right material (?). There was enough space for both families to eat together, not elegant dining but sociable. Nespresso machine made great coffee! Bathroom was small but worked fine, with a great shower and an effective warming towel rail. Huge mirror and a hairdryer were well used! Bed was very comfy and the teenagers slept fine on the double sofa bed. The booking procedure and email conversations with the owner Francois were easy and amicable, and his checkin procedure worked very well with an English speaking lady in the building to phone and the keys in a keysafe. He was kind enough to let us leave our baggage in the apartment until our late afternoon train. The free WIFI was much appreciated and worked well. The location in Montmatre was superb on a quiet side street with nearby patisseries, small supermarkets, fruit and fish sellers, chic boutiques – yes, down the hill on the main streets there are some sex shops and shows but nothing too crude or worrying. Two close by Metro stations meant that we could get everywhere in Paris quickly, and we could walk up onto the Butte in 5 minutes, drinking aperitifs in a local cafe. Renting one of these apartments would be fine, but can really recommend the double-up arrangement – worked well for two families.

My mother 83 ,my husband, our daugter 12 and myself had a splendid week in Paris. The appartment is situated in the best part of Montmatre where everything is beautiful and it is safe to be also in the nighttime.The area is full of nice shops and restaurants, and the Metro Abesse is very close, so it is easy to come around the city. The little house is placed in the backyard where its absolutely calm and quiet so we slept wonderful in the very comfortable beds. Nice small kitchen with all that you need and a nice bathroom made it even better. The owner, Francoise Aubert had prepared our stay so perfect and were in contact with us directly if we had any questions , he made us feel very welcome ! Thank you very, very much for everything Francoise! When we come back to Paris we will stay here again , and we will recommend this appartment to all our friends !

Appartements très bien situés, à deux pas du quartier abbesses, du moulin rouge. Dans résidence très calme. Les appartements sont très fonctionnels et bien équipés. Les appartements ne sont pas attenants et séparés par 2 cours intérieures, cela reste très pratique car à la même adresse mais difficile de faire un repas à 8 personnes dans l'un d'entre eux, c'est plus 2*4. Propriétaire très à l'écoute. Nous avons passés un bon séjour.

Nos hemos alojado 9 personas en estos dos apartamentos y la estancia ha sido perfecta. La relación calidad-precio es insuperable y la ubicación es perfecta, a escasos metros del precioso Montmartre. Los apartamentos son tal y como se ven en las fotos. Están bien equipados y son cómodos si lo que se busca es un buen sitio para descansar y poder hacer desayunos y cenas en casa. Al estar en zona interior no se oye ni un solo ruido de la calle. El trato con François, el propietario y con Sue, la persona que nos recibió a la llegada ha sido el esperado en todo momento y han sido muy amables dándonos toda la información que era necesaria para nuestra estancia. Sin duda recomendaría este apartamento a conocidos amigos.

Wir haben eine Wunderbares Wochenende in diesen Appartements verbracht. Alle Angaben im Inserat sind absolut zutreffend. Die Objekte sind in einem Ordentlichen und sauberen Zustand. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter vor,-während und nach unserem Aufenthalt war absolute Spitzenklasse - Danke Francois ! Ich war vorher bereits mehrmals in Paris in den unterschiedlichsten Unterkünften, und habe bisher keine bessere gehabt - ich brauche allerdings auch keinen Luxus sondern eine solide, saubere und sichere Unterkunft. All das habe ich in diesen Appartements vorgefunden. Bei unserer nächsten Paris-Reise ist das mit Sicherheit meine bevorzugte Unterkunft. Carsten

Die Wohnungen liegen im schönen Montmatre-Viertel, sind bequem und gut ausgestattet, verfügen über jeweils ein großes Schlafzimmer mit großem Bett und eine Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer. Der Vermieter spricht sehr gut deutsch und war sehr nett. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen, haben unseren Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen.
