Perched atop one of the highest privately owned mountains in North Georgia, this pet friendly mountain retreat is designed for guests who want to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the mountains.
Sleeping up to four guests, Nativa features two king bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making it perfect for couples, friends, and dog lovers seeking a peaceful getaway. The cabin's elevated location provides spectacular long-range mountain views, creating a setting that feels worlds away from everyday life.
Start your mornings looking over endless layers of mountain ridges from the private porch off the upstairs suite while sipping freshly ground coffee. Spend your days exploring the nearby National Forest Service hiking trail and waterfall, relaxing on the covered porch, or simply taking in the scenery. In the evening, soak in the hot tub beneath a sky full of stars before gathering around the large wood-burning fireplace with your favorite drink.
Outside, you'll find a fenced yard for your dogs, a fire pit for evenings under the stars, and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the mountain air. The cabin also includes a full house generator, providing added comfort and peace of mind during your stay.

Nativa is accessed by private gravel mountain roads. For the smoothest arrival and preservation of the roadway, the Road Committee recommends four-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive considered the minimum recommendation.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, No Show, and Early Departure Policy
Each of our cabins is privately owned, and cancellations impact the owners significantly. Please review this policy before booking:
31+ Days Before Check-In:
Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be made in writing and confirmed by Sliding Rock Cabins® at least 31 days before your original check-in date. You will receive a refund minus a $65 cancellation fee.
Within 31 Days of Check-In:
Any changes, cancellations, or rescheduling requests made within 31 days of your check-in date will result in forfeiture of all money paid. Payments are non-transferable to a different date.
If We Rebook Your Dates:
If we can rebook your cancelled dates with another guest, we will refund you for the portion we are able to rebook.
No Shows, Early Departures, or Reduced Party Size:
No refunds, rebates, or compensation will be given if you do not arrive, leave early, or if fewer guests arrive than planned.

We love Nativa, it provides everything we look for in a mountain retreat. The view every morning watching the sun comes up is beautiful with the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background. Love the fenced in area for the doggos so we don't have to worry about them getting into trouble investigating the area. The cabin has every amenity that we needed and we really enjoyed the fireplace. Looking forward to staying again!

We had the best relaxing week! We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise Mountain View from the upstairs bedroom, enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub almost daily, loved venturing out hiking and having our pups with us too it all off. We will definitely be back!

We are giving our experience at this cabin a mixed review . We hoped for a great view and got this . That being said , the road up to the cabin takes 15 minutes of pretty intense driving on a steep, bumpy, narrow gravel road . No such thing as a quick drive into Elijay . So just be aware of this .
The interior of the cabin was so so . Only good seating for 3 adults in a 4 person cabin . The furniture itself is very simple . However beds were good and clean . Firewood left for us was green and didn’t burn . Hot tub was good .
We know it is a cabin that allows dogs and totally agree it’s ok to put up a sign to pick up after ourselves in the fenced yard , but a sign that says $50 if you forget a poop ???? A bit much we thought .
Now lastly , it took way too long then needed to get our $500 deposit back . They expect payment of the deposit right away at booking but it took 18 days !!!! To get our deposit back after we left the cabin immaculate.
