About this cabin rental
Forever Friday is rustic Sliding Rock Cabin that is perfect spot for a family getaway. With spacious living, end of the road privacy, basement with games, two wood burning fireplaces and over two acres on the Ellijay River. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

This four bedroom, two full bath, dog friendly cabin, with over 300 feet of river frontage that sleeps up to eight (8) guests and offers the following:
• On main level:
o Bedroom with king bed and luxurious 400 count sheets, flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD player
o Bedroom with queen bed and luxurious 400 count sheets, flat screen ROKU TV (access to Netflix, Hulu, Prime, Disney+ etc, must have your own personal accounts to login to these apps)
o Full bath (with tub/shower)
• Second level:
o Bedroom with king bed and luxurious 400 count sheets
o Bedroom with queen bed and luxurious 400 count sheets
o Full bath (shower but no tub)
• Large living area, with comfy leather furniture, vaulted ceiling, wood burning fireplace, 52 inch flat screen cable TV and smart Blu-Ray player (Netflix, Hulu etc compatible if you have personal accounts to login with)
• The fully equipped updated kitchen includes: refrigerator, stove & oven, microwave, dishwasher, crock-pot, coffee grinder, coffee maker, electric skillet, tea kettle, blender, hand mixer, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans
• Assortment of board games, playing cards, DVDs, puzzles and books
• Spacious dining area with its own wood burning fireplace
• Free wireless internet
• Central heat and air
• Washer and dryer
• Walkout basement that includes 36 inch flat screen HD TV, pool table, air hockey, and electronic PacMan/Galaxy arcade game
• Screened-in porch with comfortable seating off of main level
• Propane gas grill
• Large fenced yard and driveway
• Separate gated deck with hot tub overlooking the Ellijay river
• Large earthen, waterside fire-pit

The only items you will need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments. We do provide complimentary coffee beans for your stay.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Sixty Five Dollar ($65) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. No refunds, rebates, or compensation will be offered. WE STRONGLY SUGGEST PURCHASING VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE with your travel insurance of choice. We all had a great time during our week stay at Forever Friday. The double fireplaces came in handy as we encountered some freezing temps on 2 days. The property was a very nice surprise as it provided plenty of room for activities for both human and canine alike!

VERY NICE PROPERTY, ONLY THE PICTURES MAKE IT LOOK BIGGER THAN IT IS. BUT VERY CUTE AND COZY. SLIDING ROCKS WAS VERY NICE TO WORK WITH.

Pros: Fencing around the property is great for dogs. Appreciate the non-hassle with brining dogs. Good location on the river. Cabin was clean with no evidence inside of dogs. Screened porch was nice for relaxing. No worry with being too close to neighbors. Cons: The outside of the cabin is in need of some TLC. Some simple blowing and sweeping would help. Upon arrival, the entire 2nd floor temperature felt like an attic. Our 2nd floor guests stayed elsewhere the first night as we could not get it cooled down. While it remained hot, we did get it cooled down some for the remaining days, but it was still uncomfortable. We did see 4 roaches on our 3-day stay. One scurried up my daughter's leg upon entering the cabin. I understand cabin is in the woods, but it may be time for some attention from the exterminator. Ants joined us in the kitchen. There were 3 steak knives. We grilled steaks and had to share the 3 knives. The grill igniter doesn't work - must use lighter. The garbage bags were not the right size for outside cans, which was a pain. Previous guests had not cleaned up dog poop. This is not a reflection on Forever Friday. Shame on previous guests. This is what makes it hard for renters to allow pets! Cabin is a drive back in the woods on a dirt road. It was a haul. Be prepared.
