About this cabin rental
Roughing it... Kinda...Glamping!!!
Unplugging from the world can be great for the mind, soul, and body, a chance to recharge and relax in peace and quiet. Our little red ranch house is the perfect place to do just that. Located on a farm where we have horses,ponies,donkey, goats, sheep, ducks, geese and chickens not to mention an abundance of wildlife including bear, wild turkey, deer, bald eagles, bobcat etc..
This little red ranch house is furnished with a double bed, dresser, table with 2 chairs, couple cabinets. It has solar lighting, bedding, outside fire pit. NOTE: There is no electricity and no running water although there is a water hydrant located right behind the cabin. There is a porta potty and you also have access to a small shower house with instant hot water. THE SHOWER HOUSE WILL BE CLOSED NOVEMBER THRU MARCH.
There is a propane wall heater for those chilly nights. There is a small battery operated fan for warm days and also a small battery operated radio for listening to music. For fun there is a corn hole game for your use. There is also a propane camp stove for your use.
Just bring your essentials, a cooler of food and beverages, and a camera to capture the memories and leave your worries behind.
There are over 100 acres with trails on CB Ranch to hike or ride and explore. We do not offer horse back riding but your welcome to bring your horse for a fee.
The area has many parks and trails for: Fly Fishing, Kayaking, Biking, Hiking, Photograghy, etc...
Attractions include: The Greenbrier River Rails to Trails(77 miles long), Droop Mountain, Beartown Park, Greenbrier State Park, Farmers Market, The West Virginia State Fair, Antique Shopping, Flea Markets, Lost World Cavern, Organ Cave, The West Virginia Renaissance Festival, Historic museums and just beautiful country drives.
Downtown Lewisburg is only 10 mins away with fine dining, shopping, theater, First Friday events, and many festivals throughout the year.
PETS:
Well behaved and house broken pets under 50lbs are welcome ONLY WITH PRIOR APPROVAL. There is a onetime pet fee of $20 per pet. DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT UNATTENDED ON THE PROPERTY OR IN THE CABIN AND MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES OUTSIDE UNLESS IN THE DOG PARK. We do have a private dog park for your pup to get some excercise and your welcome to hike our trails as long as your dog is on a leash. We offer doggy daycare & boarding should you need our services we would be happy to help. We will need proof of UTD vaccines prior( rabies, bordetella, DHLLP).

It was a perfect cozy get away for me and my partner. The room was tidy and had inviting decor. The property was away from the city enough to see the stars, but close enough for city convenience. The host had great communication, answered all my questions in a timely manner. My phone did not get a lot of cell services, which was perfect as my brain needed a rest. A restful place to be.

Really cool spot. Sooooo close to the WV state fair. I loved the porch and front door. Bed was comfy I slept great with windows open. Quiet & felt safe

We enjoyed our stay very much! It was the perfect place for us to stay while we attended the WV State Fair. Short drive to Lewisburg! We especially loved the beautiful scenery around the Lil Red Ranch House.

I absolutely loved my stay in the Little Red Cabin! Cheryl and Brooke are fantastic hosts! They were so accommodating and are just genuinely good people.The cabin itself is clean and super-cozy. One of the days I was there it rained all day long so I just stayed inside and read my book all day. Soooo relaxing. Brooke made sure that I always had firewood to burn in the fire pit, and while I didn't take advantage of it, there *is* a grate I could have placed over the top to cook with. My dogs, Maggie and Sophie, loved hanging out on the porch of the Little Red Cabin. Hiking on the property was delightful, and I only scratched the surface exploring the trails on the property. I was sad to have to leave.The small town of Lewisburg is so charming. Life just moves more slowly there. Everyone I interacted with was kind and friendly. The town is also very dog friendly.I would love to visit again with my dogs Maggie and Sophie.
