About this cabin rental
Spectacular views of the Adirondacks including the High peaks, Moxam, and Gore Mts. This newly constructed log cabin nestled in the quiet woods features an open floor plan with one bedroom and 1 full bathroom. The house is furnished and has all the comforts of home including a king size bed with hotel quality linens, propane fireplace, big screen television, cable internet WiFi and AC gas grill and fire pit. All basic kitchen supplies and spices provided as well as towels and linens. The house also features full length porches on the north and south of the house to take in the fabulous views. This a great retreat to enjoy walking, hiking bicycling and perhaps getting a glimpse of the abundant wildlife in the area. Ski direct from the cabin on to Garnet Hill's cross county trail system and enjoy rafting, kayaking, fishing and other area recreation when the season is right. Close to the Hudson river, 13th Lake, Siamese Ponds Wilderness and a quick ride to Lake George. Please call or email to book an Adirondack retreat at the Balm of Gilead.

Beautiful cabin, clean, so quiet and peaceful. Has everything you need. Front porch and a rear porch. BBQ in back where we cooked up some porterhouse steaks. Town and stores 13 minutes away. They have WiFi and Dish TV and a phone. My cell couldn’t get a signal there. Beautiful area. But it took us about 4 hours from northern NJ. But we loved it. Great place to get away and relax.

The cabin was perfect for a long weekend getaway. The area is beautiful with many hiking trails of varing difficulty. We had everything that we needed. We would definitely return in the future.
