About this house rental
We want to welcome you to our Beautiful House in Peru, VT. This secluded property located on 10 private acres with its own private lake and provides a total privacy and serenity. It is a short distance to Bromley - 7 miles, Magic Mountain - 7 miles, Okemo - 17 miles, and Stratton -18 miles. The house has a spacious 9 bedrooms with 12 queen beds, comfortably sleeping 18 people and 6 bathrooms. 4 en-suite bedrooms have their own full bathrooms (bedroom layout at the end). The Property also has large hot tub, outside 27 feet round, salt water pool, foosball and billiard tables, outside grill, fire place, fire pit, wifi, cable tvs and more.
Little bit about the property and the house. The house has plenty of space with all bedrooms fully stocked with fresh linens and towels. Bathrooms stocked with soap, toilet paper and hair dryers. The living room has a Fireplace, Smart TV with Cable. On the other side of the living room we have a kitchen area with kitchen island with four stools and a large dining table seating twelve. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances, pantry items, utensils, paper towels and so on. There are two more tables on the large deck outside the kitchen and living area with the beautiful views of the Lake and Mountains for outside dining. Lower level has a Game Room with Pool table, Foosball table, Large TV with Cable, Sitting area and Extra Fridge. Wifi is throughout the house.
Outside the property has plenty of space for any activities, you can play ball, make barbeque, fish (catch and release only), kayak(there are two kayaks and life jackets for your use), relax next to the water on a beach, cook marshmallows in the firepit, or just have cocktails with your friends in the large jacuzzi while enjoying the view.
It is a perfect house for family reunion, corporate retreat, or just group of friends. Whether you are skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, hiking, or just simply enjoying the foliage - you will love your stay.

Nice grounds and plenty of room for our large group. Not really what I’d call a luxury accommodation- shabby furniture, bad dishwasher. Biggest complaint is poor setup for unairconditioned space in hot summer. Kitchen pretty unbearable in the afternoon when we were cooking dinner. Needs at least screens on sliders and drapes across sliders to block afternoon sun. Also downstairs smells mildew and probably needs dehumidifiers.

Rented this place for a ski trip. To get there you travel on a long dirt road, something to consider in the winter time with snow and ice. The place is a bit beat up, towels wreak of mildew once wet, no coffee pot, kitchen items/utensils not the cleanest, 1 paper towel roll for a 24 person home. But other than that it’s a great space for a large group. I’m sure it’s beautiful in the summer time with the pool and lake. As long as you don’t have high expectations it’s fine.

We were really excited to stay at this “estate”. We were in town for a horse show and our entire barn rented the house so we could hang out together when not at the show. 20 of us, a mix of kids and adults. Owner was communicative before arrival. I missed the check-in email and he kindly resent it the day we got in town. And then we arrived….First impression…the place is in desperate need of a deep cleaning and some maintenance. It needs paint, it needs all the toilets reset and the bathrooms recaulked. The furniture in the common areas is way past overdue for replacing, especially the lower level. The pool table isn’t playable because of all the rips in the felt. The sofas downstairs are absolutely filthy. When we arrived, not all the beds had towels on them as we were told. We found most of them in one of the dryers…mildewed. The towels really need to be white so they can be bleached. With no air in the house, everything mildews in a day. We washed the towels multiple times in our 5 days.Overall, the place is what’s in the pictures…the very old pictures. The fridge and freezer were filthy. The cabinets…everything needs to be really cleaned. I could get past the repairs that are needed if it wasn’t so dirty.
