We had an absolutely wonderful weekend at Hilamito Lodge. Tucked away off the beaten path, the drive there is beautiful, and the views at the lodge itself are stunning, surrounded by lush nature. The cabins are cozy and very beautiful; the bed was especially soft and comfortable, we had such a great sleep! My boyfriend had a great time doing the canopy, and the hot spring pool was perfect for relaxing. Octavio welcomed us warmly, made sure we were comfortable from the moment we arrived, and even offered us an exotic fruit we had never tried, as well as complimentary water and cheesecake. We loved every moment and can’t wait to come back; I highly recommend Hilamito Lodge to anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and enjoy nature.

La tranquilidad del lugar, la independencia entre una cabaña. Por la amplitud del lugar se permite el desarrollo de muchas actividades, caminatas, salidas a caballo, uso de distintas piscinas. Dormirse con lo sonidos de la naturaleza es impagable.

The houses were really unique. It was quiet and secluded.

The hotel is very far from any roads or stores and when we arrived they didnt even have drinking water for sale. They have minimal food available but advertising there is a restaurant on site. The pool was often closed and when we were upgraded to free breakfast by booking there was only one egg and some cheese on a plate instead of the typico Honduran breakfast. The shower water also was very cold considering this place has hot springs running through.
