The host was incredibly helpful, from offering extra food for my children to turning up at 5am as a wake-up call (we had a very early morning ferry to catch). There was also a great grilled fish and pork cutlet restaurant just a stone's throw away. My kids enjoyed playing in the sea at the end of a long day's driving. The courtyard was also great, with the mini pagoda to hang out in. We will go back specifically to go to this pension!

Our stay in the guesthouse was really comfortable. Access by car is easy, by public transport would be a bit more difficult because the house is located in a small village. We arrived later at night, but the host helped us find a supermarket to buy some groceries.
The toilets were a bit smelly, but clean. Communication with the host was difficult due to language barrier, but we made it work. Restaurants in this area are hard to find, but there was a coffee shop close by.

We stayed at Uwha Minbak during Chuseok holidays, and use it as a base to explore Yeosu and surrounding areas. It was a good choice, and the host was very friendly and hospitable. He brought us fruits from his garden and some traditional Korean food.
