El Olivo de Sansol

It had a good view. It was a large property. They had a nice courtyard.

There was a guy there that was literally laying on the couch blasting TV. And he seemed like he was a bathroom monitor. If somebody was in the bathroom for too long, he would knock on the door loudly and say in loud Spanish, hurry up I need to go. That really threw everything off. He was rude. Also, no AC in 94° heat is problematic.

Good location in Sansol. Good value for money. Quiet.

Amazing views from our 1st floor rooms. Very responsive host met our needs because of the heat wave. It was very quiet. It had a traditional, rustic and artistic decor being the former childhood home of the host.

The house could use a little TLC, including newer mattresses, and a deeper cleaning. But overall we loved the place, it was a good value and would happily return! They referred us to Albergue Sansol for a marvelous pilgrim dinner, which included a beautiful salad, music and a small garden pool for soaking tired feet.

Well situated within Sansol

Owner not on site, had to ring the number on the door but luckily she showed up as I arrived. My room was on the 2nd floor, sloping steps up which in socks was tricky! Bedroom door was an issue, it didn’t lock correctly (previous guest was locked in and had to ring for help) I left it unlocked to avoid any issues which didn’t sit well. Freezing cold. Shower door didn’t close correctly. Kitchen sink grubby as were some mugs. Quite dusty all over
