Holiday Home Aslakit a by Interhome

The location of Aslakit A is perfect - peaceful and quiet out in the forest, but only a 10 minute walk into central Levi. We even had a perfect view of the Northern Lights from right outside our cabin. The cabin is comfy and cosy (it was so warm with the underfloor heating), and well equipped with kitchen utensils, towels, bedding, blankets, a DVD player in the upstairs bedroom, sledges in the fire hut, toilet rolls, soap, washing up liquid, fabric conditioner, etc. There's even a hairdryer, hair straighteners, salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea and coffee. Other facilities included a sauna, walk in shower, washing machine and drying cupboard in the bathroom (so handy after a day of playing in the snow). The layout worked well for us - there's an open plan living room/dining area, bathroom and twin bedroom downstairs, and a twin bedroom and double bedroom upstairs. The stairs are a little steep, but there's a gate at the top for safety. The porch as you walk in is great for taking off outer layers and boots before entering the living room/dining area. There's plenty of hooks for hanging up clothes and towels, and space under the beds for suitcases.

The TV in the living room only has 6 Finnish channels (literally the only negative about the cabin. We loved our stay here and have already recommended it to anyone looking to visit Levi).

Fantastische locatie. Tussen de bomen, zeer rustig. En toch heel kort bij het centrum van Levi dat maar op 5 min. wandelen ligt. Chalet zelf is zeer goed uitgerust, met voldoende plaats. De sauna is echt top! En ook de houtkachel, waarvoor brandhout ruim voldoende beschikbaar is, is echt een plus. Een aanrader!

Om te gaan skiën moet je toch de wagen nemen.

Excellent location and had everything we needed, there weren’t enough towels for the amount of people we had but once contacted, Anni had an extra towel with us that day, great service.

Toilet could have been cleaned a bit better, toilet lid was extremely dusty showing it had not been cleaned in a long time and under the toilet seat rim also had not been cleaned between the previous people and us arriving which wasn’t a nice sight.

Very close to town but still had that little bit of a walk so you didn’t feel surrounded by people

The host doesn’t reply to emails. We came from Australia so only had data. I emailed three times before I received a reply - we couldn’t access the cabin and got stuck in -8 with our a family. The code was sent through at midnight after check in but we got lucky working the code out.
