Apartments Porto Fianona

Comfortable apartment and very nice and helpful host.

Its a quiet location and very peaceful although its not remote in my opinion. The locals are friendly and willing to talk. The roads to and from the area are good and not busy but you will need a car to access the main shops for food, clothes etc etc. Before I arrived, I read a review about a power station being an eyesore. It really is not. Its there but you would not notice it so please dont be put off by this at all. The apartment is big and has plenty of living space. The apartment is very clean and had plates, cutlery etc. The shower is very good and all the lights, appliances work perfectly. The sofa is very comfortable, clean and the air con works great. There is limited parking outside the building but you can park safely about 50 yards from the entrance to the apartment. The beach is a pebble beach but there are really nice private parts of it which is great when you have kids. There is also a beach bar serving drinks and some food items at a reasonable price. Overall, the apartment was excellent value for money, the area benefits from being overlooked by your usual tourists so it retains its natural charm, the locals are friendly and you would pay a lot more for a lot less elsewhere. It is definitely a place to fall in love with and this apartment is a perfect place to stay. There was a very good washing machine.

There is a shop within walking distance but I never saw it open and it you would need to drive to get to another one. The apartment did not have a balcony but we knew this before we arrived. I didn't like the reviews I read before I arrived because I almost never booked this apartment. But luckily I did as it was a lot better than I had researched and we had a great little holiday. I really hope that this review will encourage others to visit.
