Mykonian Dianthus

Absolutely stunning Villa with a beautiful view of Elia Beach. Margherita, who manages the villa, was super responsive to all our needs. The villa also came stocked with basic necessities to get our trip started.

The most beautiful house on the island. Space, view, comfort in an enchanted place. Reserved parking area, easy accessibility, easily accessible from the chaotic center but quiet. Perfect for parties. The host welcomed us with discretion and his availability was equal to the best conciergerie of a 5 star hotel. We will not return to Mykonos without returning to this house.

The view was amazing! The beach was so close you could walk to it (about a 15min walk down the mountain). There is a great view of the sunset from the balcony or the pool. There are plenty of rooms, our family of 4 fit comfortably, we had room for 3 more people. It has all amenities, TVs in each room, a full working kitchen, air conditioning in each room, and a big living room. I recommend renting a car to be able to go to the amazing restaurants. A bus frequently comes by so there are ways to get around without a car. We had a very relaxing time. It is close enough by bus or car to the town to go out and have fun, but you can then go back and relax from all the partying once you’re done. I highly recommend not only because of the view but the atmosphere and the host is very friendly and helpful.

What a remarkable stay at a remarkable house on a remarkable island! The host was incredible; he met us on arrival and took the time to talk to us about the house and all the great things we should do while at Mykonos. He is a warm, outgoing man with an infectious laugh and a true love for his island and care for his guests. The view from the rooms and the patios is breathtaking! The property is on a cliff with a panoramic view of Elia beach (which is fifth on the top-12 list of Mykonos beaches), which is about a ten minute walk away. The restaurants at Elia beach offer a wide variety of culinary experiences and it was very tempting to spend our entire time there. The house itself is sparkling clean, comfortable, and luxurious. But Mykonos has a long list of incredible beaches that each offer a different experience, so we made sure we tried out a few of those as well. If you go, take a boat from one beach to the other. It is the only way to travel! If you have kids of any age with you, it is what they will remember and talk about for the rest of their lives! Well, that, and lolling by the pool until all hours of the night, discussing everything from the new Manga series to politics, religion, and their plans for their future (yes, I have teenagers to young adults). Of course, one does not go to Mykonos and not experience the night life. True, the city of Chora is 11.5km (7 miles) away but cabs are affordable and the roads good. The great thing is, you can enjoy it to any extent you desire and then go home to the tranquility and curative properties of your temporary home on the cusp between the mountains and the sea. Culture, nature and night life! That is Mykonos. Add to that a great place to stay: that is Mykonian Dianthus.
