We parked each night then drove into Bordeaux…had to pay for parking there..15E / day. Complete and thoughtful breakfast each day. We recommend it!

We stayed at this wonderful 'chambre d'hôte' earlier this year and had such a lovely time that we were determined to visit again! We enjoyed our second stay just as much and this has to be one of the best places we have stayed in our travelling experiences. The owner Sophie is the most wonderful host we have ever encountered and on both our trips made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The room is self-contained and separate from the main house and was extremely comfortable, clean and well-equipped. It has the additional bonus of a small terrace for sitting out and enjoying the peacefulness of the garden. I have to also mention Sophie's wonderful breakfasts which include her delicious home-made pastries, cakes and bread. A perfect start to the day! The 'chambre d'hôte' is located in a very peaceful and quiet residential area about 3.5 smiles from the centre of Bordeaux. We walked into Bordeaux most days but there is also the option of getting one of the many frequent bus services that run from the bottom of Rue Jude. We loved exploring Bordeaux and found it so nice to return to Sophie's house every evening. Thank you Sophie for making our stay so memorable. We hope to see you again soon. Neil & Ruth xxx

Everything was perfect, nice location, good host Wonderful and cozy apartment breakfast I strongly recommend!
