The lodge is located in a prime spot just outside the kila and has a rustic vibe.

Fabulous location and a really charming property. Room was lovely - clean and well presented. There was a big, comfortable bed, good air con and/or fan, it was quiet and had a pretty seating area outside. Good WiFi. Staff were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Breakfast choices were a little limited. The water pressure in the shower was too low to use so the bucket and jug were the better option. This was fine and there was loads of hot water. Wasn’t a problem for us but just for information really.

Staying in a converted room in the fort gatehouse is a wow factor and an amazing location.
It was like sleeping on the floor. The bed mattress was so hard it could have had bricks in it, no give at all. Budget room up stone steps was quirky and excellent but the shower hot water tap fell off although we could just use it if we were careful. Power often off but understand that is not the the property fault.
