About this apartment rental
The Apartment has two bedrooms, both with queen beds, each room has its own TV and the apartment has wireless internet.
The sitting room has a large TV, DVD player, Apple TV box and heaters to keep you warm.
The kitchen has all the basics plus much more including, coffee machine, popcorn maker, rice cooker, sandwich press, microwave and blender to name a few.
Also available are toys, puzzles and books for children, high chair, basic stroller (not suitable for newborns), basic portable cot (excluding sheets etc for it) and most of the essentials a family would need, including a dish washer, washing machine and dryer. The shower has a small (short bathtub) in the bottom to make bathing the children easier.
Linen charges are included in the booking price and guests are asked to ensure that all dishes used are washed and put away before they leave.
The key to the apartment is kept in a secure box that is located only approximately a 2 minute walk away so you can let yourself in without having to meet anyone at a specific time.
The booking fee is for 4 guests but we have available 2 single portable beds for an additional charge. These beds were designed in Sweden and produced in Europe, they have proper slats and a 10cm thick memory foam mattress to provide more comfort and support.
If Parking is needed there are commercial parking buildings nearby.

The host really helped us when we had difficulty reading the check-in information. The apartment is well situated in the CBD and is very secure. It was nice to have a washer and dryer along with a kitchen with cooking amenities.

The communication with the owner was spot on! Travelling from overseas it was important and she responded to us promptly.
The location is great and very spacious apartment.

I didn't know what to expect being in the city, but the location of CBD of Wellington is fantastic. It was never a long drive to anything you'd like to do, close to the ferry port, lots of food and shopping choices, and the five of us made use of the massage (& nail) place next door; I had the best massage of my life there.
The owner communicated well with me in advance and provided some parking suggestions (ramps), but as I was parking in a ramp I met a garage parking meter attendant who suggested I park on the street cause it's free parking from 8 pm to 8 am and would be significantly cheaper.. it was! I used the parking app on my phone for the street meters and only had to pay for a total of 4 hours for two nights due to the free parking after 8pm.
The only negatives are 1) the clothes dryer didn't dry very well, but once we were aware of it, we used the other one more; 2) no paper towels provided; both minor.
I recommend and would stay again if I return to the area.
