Apartman Kamenar

This apartment is absolutely great! More than enough space for 4 people, wonderful living room, 2 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace including a beautiful view as the apartment is located at the top of a mountain, hence very in a quite area. The apartment is in well looked after. Not just super clean but also equipped with quality furniture, beds, kitchen equipment, etc. Finally, the landlords are super nice people, with one goal in mind, which is to keep their visitors happy.

It is a calm and silent village near to Rijeka, about 15 minutes. The apartman is cosy and spacious, the beds are comfortables. The kitchen is fully equiepped, there are dishwasher, microwave-oven, freezer, stove, kettle, and a lot of plates, glasses, silverware, etc. Everything is very clean. The garden is beautiful, it is good to drink a coffee outside in the morning. If you are lucky you can see squirells and roes. (We were...) The hosts are very friendly and nice.

The hosts can't speak in English, we can't speak German or Croatian so the communication is a little bit difficult (but not impossible).

This is a fantastic place for families. Very clean, spacious and silent. We are family 2+2 (children age of 3 and 5) and we have really enjoyed our stay there. We recommend it for families who come with car. The place is located in a village Grobnik which is a kind of subvillage of Cavle, and Cavle is just next to rijeka. There is ample opportunity for different sunbathing in the area of approx 10 km. You can reach rijeka with highway in 7 minutes. We really enjoyed the local atmosphere and ordinary life of Grobnik, which resembles real Croatia and is so different than the lifestyle of typical tourist places like Opatija, which we did not like at all (to much noise, clubs and unnecessary show-off). We loved the local pasticceria in Cavle. The sweets there are just great and unexpectedly low-price. We wish the owners of Kamenar apartemnt good luck with the business. We will be back for sure.

There should be a bit more transparency on the check out time. We needed to be quite in a rush to get our things packed into the car on the check out day, but it definitely was a minor thing and the entire stay was just great!
