Mas Planella Casa Rural

We really enjoyed our stay at Mas Planella! It's in the middle of nowhere, near the village of Mieres. It's very quiet and rural which might not suit everyone but if it is your sort of thing then you will love it. The beds are fairly simple but were comfortable. Chris and his wife were a great help. The bins were emptied frequently and the pool was kept clean. The pool is around 10m x 4m but quite a decent size and not too chlorine-y. It's worth having breakfast near the pool, in the shade and then lunch to the side once in the shade or eat indoors. There is a games room, with a ping pong table and projector but we found the WiFi didn't quite extend to there. The WiFi works okay in the villa but not that well once outside - but this is due to the thick stone walls of the property. The shop in Mieres is worth a visit - it's a bit difficult to find, but is on the main street and indicated on Google Maps and so on. There is a bakery in Mieres as well, further down the main street on the opposite side. Again it's a little difficult to find. It's worth checking the opening hours for both - they may well be shut on different days for instance or at different times. The shop is quite small but does have a good selection of items to buy and you can even bring your own bottle and get it filled up! Although we would recommend drinking on the day of purchase or soon after.

There's no aircon, but there are fans. It wasn't a big problem but some might struggle. Other than that not a lot else really. The toilets did need a little encouragement now and again to flush - but it wasn't really a big problem for us.

El espacio exterior, el entorno son maravillosos. Fuimos 4 familias, la casa tiene habitaciones amplias, cocina equipada y sala audiovisual. Lugar muy tranquilo y cerca de lugares para visitar, senderismo... Estuvimos muy bien y el personal muy amable.

Los colchones en general coincidimos en que necesitan un cambio. Eran demasiado blandos y de muelles...muchas noches se haría incomodo,así como alguna cosita mejorable en los baños (alcachofas de ducha, cortina o mampara)y un pelín más de limpieza en profundidad.

Es una casa espectacular ,muy bonita la zona con animales,campos verdes ,tranquilidad,los propietarios majos .Nos ha gustado todo .Es un sitio para repetir si duda .
