La Pinta - Fincas Arena

The location was excellent, just 15 mins walk from the old town and 10 mins from the very lively strip. Our apartment was on the 15th floor (luckily the lift was very reliable!) with lovely view from the spacious balcony., which had a table and 4 chairs. The living area was very comfy and spacious and there was a selection of books to read. The kitchen facilities were ample with a fridge, microwave and even a washing machine. The beds were very comfy and air con good. Good storage space and extra pillows/blankets. There was an iron, ironing board and even a bath! The supermarket across the road was good with fresh bread delivered every day. We really liked the Little Rock bar next door too. The pool officially closes from mid Sept onwards which was a pity as when we were there is was still very hot - but you could still lie on the grass beside it to sunbathe.

The shower curtain was on an expanding pole that sometimes fell down - not ideal if having a shower as bathroom would get flooded! Some plugs didn’t quite fit the plug holes, and it would be better to provide mugs for tea not tiny fancy china cups. Re the utensils a pair of scissors would be a useful addition. Also the hot water had been switched off when we arrived - we didn’t realise at first ; just thought we were showering too late and the hot water had all been used up. Future visitors please note: if you arrive late you have to pay €30 to get your apartment key brought to the office. It’s a further €20 if you want them to bring to the apartment itself but DON’T pay that as the apartment is just across road from the office.! You also have to pay a returnable €200 deposit in case of any damages

Liked every thing apart from no balcony

I liked the location of the apartment — it is in a strategic spot in the center of Benidorm, and everything is close to it. The building is very quiet and clean.
