It was nice that there was a bathtub and some odds and ends in the kitchen (spices, oil). The cleaning supplies and vacuum and so on are all available in the flat, so it was easy to keep the place tidy and change towels during a longer stay. The building and the area are extremely quiet. It's nice to sleep under the skylight in the bedroom, and there are killer window coverings in the bedroom so you can make it completely dark.
The stairwell is very shabby. There's no lighting in the kitchen area, and there are stains on the couch, rug and table. However, the plainness of the place could be an advantage for those travelling with small children who tend to spill things, as you wouldn't have to worry about damaging expensive furniture. There is no elevator so it's four flights of stairs, not appropriate for anyone with mobility issues or a lot of stuff to carry.
