Baso Hilltop Apartments

Baso was an extremely friendly host. She was very helpful and gave us little gifts like fruit and fresh eggs. She also provided a nice welcome pack. As other reviews highlight, Baso Appartments are set on a hill, high above Argassi, so the views (night and day) are simply stunning. The apartment was neat and tidy and immaculately clean. The bed linen was crisp and changed every couple of days.

We have just spend a wonderful summer holiday in the baso hilltop apartment. Everything was just perfect. The view is spectacular, most likely one of the best on the whole island. Watching Zante harbor from afar and seeing the city lights at night so relaxing and you can even do it while laying in bed :). Even though the apartment is in the hilltops of Agrassi remote and silent, everything you would want or need is in arms length just a 2 min drive down to Agrassi you will have nightlife, supermarket, restaurants. Airport reachable with shortcuts just in 10 minutes. The apartment has a nice small kitchen and bathroom which was enough for making breakfast, lunch and dinner. Miss Baso and her Husband were most likely one of the most lovely Hosts we came across. The apartment was cleaned every day. There was always free homemade olive oil , fruits and eggs in the fridge available. One day she made us Pastisio for lunch gave us cold deserts when we came back from a hot beach day, it felt like family. Thank you. We loved it so much. We will return. Σ’ ευχαριστώ πολύ

The owner (Ms. Baso) and the view were absolute gems of our stay here. There were some oranges and lemons there when we arrived and she brought us some fresh bread and olive oil, which was super nice. The view is just impossible to beat. I speeded everyday just to get back and see the sunset from the terrace. I made a huge mistake when I didn't bring my binoculars with me, take one and you'll spend all your evenings looking at Zakinthos from above.

The kitchen and the bathroom (specifically shower) are tiny but manageable. The TV was old school and didn't support apps. I was a bit stressed over getting to the property (it's located on the top of a hill) as we were coming at night and the car navigation directed us to a different place, but it's actually very easy to get there when you know the way (google maps provides the correct location).
