If I need to find something, it is not really in walking distance to any good restaurant and the breakfast on the second day was still very good but not as delicious on the first day

10 out of 10. I can highly recommend staying in here, if you can. Sanatha Suwaya is located beautifully up the hill in Kandy. The design of the hotel and the rooms is so special. You fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of nature. Absolute bliss. Michael and the rest of the staff made our stay just perfect! Everyone was super friendly, nice and attentive. We even had a wonderful yoga class with Geraldine and an introduction to meditation with Michael. We‘ve enjoyed our stay a lot and would love to come back.
