We had an excellent time in there, great views, fantastic host, and such a great location.

The host was friendly and took a good care of us. The view to the sea and sunset was fantastic. They even had a basket with home made products to welcome us. Also, this place is only 5 min drive from the best beach in Corfu. I definitely recommend this place.

Very good value for money

The room was spotless clean with a very nice sea view, quiet area, few minutes away from Pelekas centre by car. Highly appreciate Maria’s warm welcome gifts and her hospitality (basket full of homemade goodies and nice wine, water in the fridge was a great idea after the heat and travel), she respects her guests and knows how to treat them and make them feel welcome.

Great value room nestled in beautiful countryside

Beautiful surroundings with an amazing sea view from the balcony. Our room was clean, comfy and spacious with a little kitchenette for making a quick meal. Our hosts were really friendly and even gave us a great little gift basket with their own handmade products like wine, jam, eggs. They really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Kontogialos beach is a short drive away (I definitely recommend to have your own vehicle) and is one of the best beaches on Corfu. Pelekas is a town nearby with places to eat, drink and get groceries. Corfu town is a 20 minute drive away so it's a great option for exploring the old town frequently.

I would recommend using some earplugs because the walls are a bit thin and also if the sounds of nature in the morning disturb you. We didn't mind it much.

Stunning scenery

The host was lovely. We were left a welcome basket and later was given a bottle of wine made locally The view from the balcony was great The nearest beach was good The room we had did have cooking facilities limited to two ring burner and a sandwich toaster Fridge was a godsend Host Maria checked if we had all we needed regularly 😀

The location up in the hills means you have to have a car to get anywhere ( we did ) Nearest restaurant is a 6 min drive and options limited Other restaurants further away gave better choices

11 days around Corfu island

The room is small but it is complete with anything you may need and if you need more, Maria and her help Raissa are there to support in any way. Spotless clean, towels are changed every 2 days. In the room we found small gifts from Maria and more came in the next days: home made products and fresh vegetables from the garden. I have been traveling around all parts of Greece for many years, Greek people are wonderful all around but Angela is something more, her warm welcome comes from the heart ❤️ Thank you Maria!

an unbeatable experience

The hosts were amazing. Fresh tomatoes, cucumber, oregano, olive oil… all grown by themselves. They treated us wonderfully. The apartments are really clean and they can also be cleaned up daily. During the night is so quiet and relaxing, we had spent 6 days in Anemone and we are already planning to come next year as well. 100% recommended

Relaxing

There are no words to describe how our stay here was. Maria became like family from the moment we met. Ever since we arrived, she made us feel like vising a relative. The room was impeccably clean and every single day they cleaned it. Not to forget, when we arrived, we received a bottle of delicious home made wine and home made kumquat products. Every day she spoiled us with delicious veggies from the garden, sweets and even a gift when we departed. The cleaning services are impeccable, from the kitchen to the bathroom, everything is sparkling. The views were gorgeous, Maria's well maintained garden and the sea. We also got the chance to eat veggies from the garden sereval times and they are incredibly tastly, next to their home made olive oil. Maria always encouraged us to explore the surroundings and gave us tips for local food and sweets and helped us rent a scooter to travel around, gave us tips for good beach bars, always there when we needed something or just for a good talk over coffee. The vibes were exactly like visiting a lovely relative on a greek island, always helpful and sweet. If i were to come back anytime on the island, i would always choose Anemone for the quiet surroundings and the atmosphere and the chats with Maria.

Wonderful experience.

The property is lovely, very clean and had all it needed. The view from the balcony was soo beautiful. We had the homemade gifts from the host, which was sooo nice. The liqueur, jam and olive oil was wonderful. The host was wonderful, great communication and help every step. The Pelekas village is just few minutes walk away with great restaurants. Thank you for your hospitality and lovely gifts.

Slightly too far from the beach, walking distance is too great. But we knew this.

Very good

We had a wonderful stay at Anemone. It was the perfect location for our party of four (me and my friend and our sons, both 14). We shared two double rooms. The rooms were spacious enough, spotlessly clean and cleaned throughout our 11 days stay upon our request depending on need. Fresh towels were regularly provided. The rooms on the back side have a beautiful view of the sea. The small kitchenettes are equipped with everything you need to prepare a simple meal but the house is also conveniently located and the center of Pelekas village with several bars and restaurants is only a 15 minutes walk away. Two beaches can be reached by car in 5 - 10 minutes but you can also walk to Glyfada beach in 25 minutes. In the mornings we would use the big table in the yard to have breakfast together. Most important of all: Maria is an outstanding host - such a warm and friendly person! She would answer all our questions and provide tipps for beautiful less known beaches and always be there for a chat. Every day she would bring us little gifts of vegetables and fruits from her garden and really made us feel at home. We would love to come back soon!

it was the best apartment i have ever been to. the host was really friendly, gave uf homemade wine, kumquat jam and olive oil as a present, and she also brought us fresh vegetable from the garden. it was very clean, the towels, sponges, etc were packed in clean bags before we came. the view is amazing. Glyfada beach is a 7 minutes ride with a car from the apartment. Pelakas is also 5 minutes away, which is like a little town from Mamma Mia. If you have a car it is the best place to stay, because all the beautiful beaches and Kerkyra also can be reached in 30 minutes.

The apartment was very clean and cosy with spacy terrace with sea view. Accomodation is close to village Pelekas, which is famos for its sunset. There are also lovely beaches nearby. The host Maria is very kind and nice person, always happy to help. She gave me many useful recommendations and advice. I'll be happy to be back again.

Maria is such a great person

As the title says, Maria was very heartwarming and nice. When we arrived, she gave us home made wine, olive oil, marmelades and liquor. Unfortunately beds should be considered relatively outdated and but hard. For a person with a problematic back like me could be difficult. Towels, linen and everything got changed already on the second day. Nevertheless it’s a calm spot, if neighbours are, we had a night where we had to interact with them harshly because they gave 0 fks. Consider an commute like a car, other than this, it’s almost not reachable. I can definitely recommend it.

The most amazing experience

Our room had a cute balcony with the most beautiful sea view. The room was exactly what we booked but we never expect it to be so amazing! The room was perfectly clean and really well equipped (all kitchen supplies, hairdryer, coffee machine, etc.). Every three days we were given 3 new towels, the bedsheets were changed and the room was cleaned to perfection. The host helped us to organize rental car and taxi from the airport. She waited us arriving late night from the airport with some local gifts and showed us the room. She even gave us to tomatoes from her garden and eggs. This place is peaceful with such an amazing atmosphere . Can’t wait to come back!

A perfect accommodation for a very nice holiday:-)

We liked everything, the apartment was spacious, very clean, with a perfect view to the sea. The rooms were big and the kitchen was fully equipped. The host, Maria, is a very delightful and nice lady, she offered us several times local products from her garden. We felt like in the family and we hope to come back there again!

Overall, a great stay - loved the cats

Maria was lovely, bring us homemade wine, olive oil, fruit and veg from the garden throughout our stay. The view from the balcony was great. The room was clean and Maria cleaned often and past our expectations. 10/10 stay, willl be staying here again if we come to Corfu.

Perfect hospitality, great view, quiet and an original experience with the best host

Where should I start what we liked. All in all it was perfect from beginnig to the end. Maria the host is such a beautyful, kind and heartwarming person who always suprised us with little gifts like fruits and vegetables from the garden or selfmade olive oil. The view from our appartement was great at the ocean and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner with the fresh ingredients from the garden. Very nice sunset, too. We loved it and didn't want to leave. We will come back for sure. Thank you so much for the best holidays.

With that perfect hospitality there is nothing to criticize. Maybe that we would like to have more time to enjoy it longer than for just one week.

El trato recibido por María ha sido inmejorable. Había un detalle de bienvenida en la habitación con productos que hacen allí mismo y como vio que desayunábamos huevos nos dejó unos cuantos caseros cuando fue a limpiar. La ubicación del lugar muy buena, bastante cerca de Corfú ciudad y de las playas más emblemáticas de la isla.

Uroczy pensjonat z czystością na najwyższym poziomie

Obiekt bardziej przypomina pensjonat niż typowy hotel. Studio było tak czyste i wysprzątane, że byliśmy pod wrażeniem. Ogromnym plusem był sposób odbioru kluczy ponieważ przyjechaliśmy na miejsce o 3:00 w nocy. Lokalizacja blisko cudownej plaży Glyfada Beach. Samochód dla tej lokalizacji jest konieczny. Po przyjeździe czekał na Nas kosz z podarunkami od Właścicieli oraz woda w lodówce. Polecam!

La posizione era tranquilla a pochi km da tutte le attrazioni dell'isola (l'abbiamo scelta apposta perchè al centro dell'isola di Corfù). La nostra stanza aveva tutto l'occorrente se non di più. Una bellissima vista dal balcone. L'host è stato gentilissimo e ci ha fatto trovare in stanza un bellissimo benvenuto con prodotti tipici e ci ha fatto trovare in stanza (nei giorni successivi) una volta le uova di produzione propria e una volta dei dolcetti fatti in casa squisiti. Ci hanno cambiato gli asciugamani e pulito la stanza ogni due giorni (anche piu di quello previsto) e questo è stato apprezzatissimo. Letto comodo e cuscini a sufficienza. Ci hanno messo a disposizione anche un ombrellone per la spiaggia. Gode di un buon piazzale per il parcheggio dell'auto. Poiché era assente "inquinamento" luminoso siamo riusciti a fotografare anche la via lattea!!

L'unico cavillo è stato il bagno. La doccia purtroppo aveva solo una tenda che faceva passare l'acqua visto lo spazio abbastanza ridotto. Sarebbe stato meglio e piu igienico una doccia chiusa.
