This is a traditional Japanese-style pension hotel. I was very satisfied with the breakfast, and it's a 3-minute walk to the bus stop for the free shuttle bus.

Breakfast was very good, the owner and his wife could not have been more helpful. I was very impressed with their eagerness to please in all circumstances as well as their knowledge of the area and suggestions to make our trip easier.
There is nothing I can think of that I didn't like. Some other guests were loud with the doors on occasion, but that has nothing to do with the owner of the property, thats just inconsiderate customers.

The property is well maintained in the heart of echoland, and the rooms are big for Japan.
It offers a Japanese style ski lodge style accomodation, with a Japanese bath room.
The house rules are normal for Japan (such as using the bath facilities properly), and the host makes sure you have enough to eat every morning. Not ideal for party people, but great for those wanting a more relaxed atmosphere in echoland.
The area is a bit noisy, but this is to be expected in echoland.
