Good value for money, clean and comfortable accommodation

Central location near many restaurants and easy walking distance from the seafront prommenade and ferry port. The room and bathroom was a bit small but very clean with a good shower and comfortable bed.

Just as information for other guests who may have mobility problems or big luggage - there are quite steep stairs to reach the rooms. Maria was kind and helped us carry our luggage.

Perfect place to stay in Kavala

Located in the absolute city center, friendliest staff EVER, clean room and good size, eye for details, had everything needed and there's cakes in the corridor, it was nice touch!

Nothing. Just take a note that its a busy street with shops and restaurants and its noisy but this wasn't an issue for us.

No parking nearby and quite noisy from the restaurants outside. No lift either. Not great value for money.

Great central location to get around the city, in a more tradtional hotel. The room was amazingly clean and had everything you need. We didn't experience any of the issues with noise but we were there during the week rather than on the weekend.

A budget hotel for short stays

Locationwise its great. In the middle of everything, few minutes away from the sea. I was able to reach everything by walking. The entrance is nice, small but tasteful. No lift. Building itself is very pretty, historical. Balcony was great. Room size and the bath is ok. Treats are cute. Hotel is super clean. Ceilings are very high. The only downside is the bars around. Room size is great for one person. For two, might be a little small.

I highly recommend to put more cabinets or simply tables in the room for guests. All our luggages had to stay on the floor. There is an interesting smell of an old building combined w a detergent. I didn't love it but not terrible :) Friday & saturday nights forget about sleeping because of the noise coming out from the street. Other days or low season are probably ok.

Not for light sleepers

They got us a ride to Philippi archaeological site, which was a amazing bonus. Friendly staff.

There is a church next to the accommodation. Every morning at 06.00 starts bell ringing. When we stayed also a major road construction work being done right under us. They start 07.00 hours with drilling machines. So first the church wakes you then the workers. This is not the fault of the INN

A very comfortable place to spend a night or two whilst visiting the lovely town of Kavala.

I found the character of the Inn appealing. A kettle, coffee,teas and care taken over treats for Easter was an added bonus. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was newly renovated and everything was very clean.

The room was on the small side and wouldn't be suitable for a guest with physical difficulties as there were a couple of steep steps into the bathroom. The balcony was small but pleasant enough although there was no view. The window was very difficult to open.

Beautiful place with wonderful staff.

The perfect location and the friendliest staff. Clean and cozy, overlooking the main square, snuggled under the protective walls of the ancient fortress, the Old Town Inn is a stone’s throw from the port and in the middle of the restoraunt district. You’ll find the tastiest bougatsa in the morning and the freshest fish at night.

I wish the property had an elevator, but sometimes you can’t retrofit a modern ammenity into a beautiful historic building. On the positive side, walking up the stairs to your room will help you burn some calories while giving you an appreciation of the modern times we live in.

Nice hotel in Kavala's center

Clean room, very comfortable bed, perfect location - right in the heart of beautiful Kavala. Up to 5 minutes walk, there is a parking where you can leave your car for 8 euro / 24 hours (as a guest of the hotel).

Amazing property and owners

The rooms were very clean and they provide daily cleaning. The owners were very nice. I will come back when I visit Kavala again. Keep in mind that the property is centrally positioned so expect noise most of the nights, but because of the position it is very close to a lot of restaurants/pubs.

Neat hotel, decent for a one-night stop and close to a lot of restaurant and nice places to walk and explore.

The central location is also very noisy. We stayed on a Sunday night and very loud music was blaring right next to our windows way past midnight. A restful sleep we had not 🥲
