was a relatively quite time - there wasnt many other people staying - but the walls felt very thin and i could hear others clearly
Very strange setup with the showers - the doors didnt lock so was conscious that someone could walk in while i was showering.

It’s close to Tongariro National Park, so I think it’s the perfect location for those taking part in a trek the following morning.
When I arrived at the lodge at around 5 pm, the reception was closed and I was at a loss as to what to do. (There was a note saying to ring the number provided, but my mobile wouldn’t connect.) In the end, as the building also houses a bar, I went round there and was able to check in.

Great locatiom for Tongariro place and other things. Room is good value for the money. Heating could be better though.
Cold in room, also cold in showers. Walls need new paint, but personally doesnt matter for the grade.
