This renovated farmhouse is a stunner! The beauty and character of the 1850's home was carefully preserved while meaningful, modern updates were incorporated. Natural light, beautiful wood floors, and neutral tones pervade throughout with a relaxed blend of contemporary and traditional farmhouse styling. With three bedrooms and three full baths, the Village Farmhouse is ideal for families, multiple couples, and friends visiting together. A roomy, open-concept main floor connects the living, dining, and sitting areas—with a gas fireplace centrally placed to provide warmth and inviting ambiance. The updated kitchen and outdoor grill space with a bistro table encourage gathering for meals—be sure to check out Stowe's cherished farmer's market on Sundays through the summer.
If dining out is your pleasure, this home is just a two-minute stroll along a sidewalk to Stowe's historic village and the myriad restaurants, shops, bars, and cafes here. The paved 5.3-mile recreation path begins steps away behind the house and the trailhead for the Sunset Rock hike is just around the corner—a short and sweet favorite of local families affording a charming view over town. For winter sports enthusiasts, a Mountain Road shuttle stop is only 0.2 miles from the door getting you to and from the mountain with ease.

We loved the location and the ease of walking to downtown Stowe. Halloween celebration was quite entertaining to witness and the homeowner did a stellar job of decorating. Best in show I would say. House had all amenities you would need - maybe some televisions in bedrooms would be our only complaint. Otherwise lovely stay!

This house is beautiful. 4 houses from downtown Stowe!! Updated. Blankets and pillows excellent. Clean clean clean!! Stocked with everything you need. Very generous. Only negative was Stowe is crowded at this time of year. Recommend 100%.

We enjoyed our stay in Stowe - traveling as a family of six. The home is well equipped and perfect for a ski trip. The kids loved the toys and games available - and the grown ups enjoyed plenty of space to relax with a book. The house was not perfect on arrival but that was quickly remedied. I’ve never encountered such a helpful rental agency - 10/10 for customer service and kindness. We would happily rent again.

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse! It is very tastefully decorated, clean and welcoming. Just like in the pictures :) We stayed as a family of 5 and had plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable and there are all the amenities you would want. The owners have paid attention to every single detail to make this a really extraordinary stay. They also went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and shared some great tips, including a fascinating history of the farmhouse that they have fully renovated. The house is ideally located - it is a 5 min walk to town and a 15 min drive to the Stowe Mountain Resort. There are plenty of restaurants and activities nearby as well.
