Somewhat dated, I occasionally expected Humphrey Bogart and Audrey Hepburn to appear on the scene. It is perfectly pleasant, somewhat secluded and well away from the main town

The property was very spacious with comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces for relaxing. The bird life around the property was amazing and we enjoyed listening to the variety of birdsong. The bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect for us to visit family living in Kuranda. Patrick and Susan were warm and welcoming hosts and very accommodating when we needed to make late adjustments to our dates.

I can see why some people would like it, the house itself is nice, the surrounds are lovely, and there’s novelty value with the excessive African theme
The bed was very soft and saggy in the middle, resulting in a poor nights sleep and ultimately making it a disappointing stay.
