The accommodation is situated in a quiet area with houses just across the main road that runs through Chia. At first it seems a bit remote, but it has definitely a certain charm to it. The house is in good shape, kept in check by the owners - Luciano and his wife. They are very nice people, helpful, giving advice and offering you beach utensils. They reside in the same building, but they give you your privacy.
The check in process was easy - Luciano shows you the accommodation, gives you information and hands you the keys. You need to pay a 200 Euro guarantee - this will be returned to you through a banking order in the first week after your check out.
We stayed in the apartment overlooking the wonderful garden. The apartment was a good size with a well equipped kitchen (stove, gas burner, dishwasher, microwave, cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc.), so you can cook to your liking. It had air conditioning in the living room, but it was well placed and managed to cool the whole apartment, so you could sleep without having cold air blowing on you the whole night.
The garden is beautifully maintained and you can use to your liking. We were traveling with our kids and they had a great time playing in the garden.
You can park your car in front of the house. You can drive in the courtyard for unloading the luggage, but you can not leave in because of the sprinkler system - it turns on every night for watering the lawn.
There are a number of beautiful beaches (Spiaggia di Sa Colonnia, di Campana Dune, di Campana Pontile, Su Giudeu) in the area to visit, but you will need a car to get there.
There is a small store in the village for quick shopping, but we used the big stores in Pula for stocking the fridge. It is a drive away - about 17 km, but you have a bigger choice.
The bathroom is a little bit dated, but functional. I would say that the shower needs a little renovating.

We had a great stay at this lovely villa in Chia! The proximity to the beach, just a 4-minute walk away, made it incredibly convenient for us to enjoy the coastal surroundings to the fullest. We were pleasantly surprised by the presence of wonderful restaurants within walking distance, as well as a fruit and veg stall, local shop, and coffee shop, which added to the convenience and enjoyment of our stay.
The villa provided ample space for our group of six, ensuring that everyone had enough room to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit. The presence of air conditioning in the main kitchen and living area was greatly appreciated, especially during the warmer days, allowing us to retreat to a cool and comfortable space.
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the beautiful garden. It provided a serene and picturesque setting where we could spend leisurely moments in the sun, and gather in the evenings to share delicious meals and drinks together. The garden added an extra touch of tranquility and created a lovely atmosphere for our group.
The villa, while a bit dated, was still a reasonable choice considering the price. At approximately £27 per person per night, it felt fair and budget-friendly. However, it's worth noting that some areas could benefit from upgrades. The plumbing system had its issues, and occasional strange smells arose in the bathroom. Additionally, there was only one functioning sun lounger for the six of us, as the other one was broken. It would have been nice to have more loungers available, providing the option to relax and read in the garden on days when the beach wasn't preferred.
There was a minor inconvenience with the air conditioning remote not being initially provided by Luciano, the host. It took a phone call to bring this to his attention, and he dropped it off that evening. The beds in the villa were not particularly comfortable, and a few extra pillows would have been welcomed. However, comfort preferences can vary among individuals, and it may still be suitable for others.
While it's not expected for basic supplies like salt, pepper, coffee, and toilet roll to be included, it would have been a nice gesture for the host to provide these essentials upon arrival, especially after a long journey.
It's worth noting that the villa does not have Wi-Fi, as stated in the booking. However, adding Wi-Fi could attract more bookings, as it has become an essential amenity for many travelers.
Overall, despite some areas that could be improved, our stay at the villa was enjoyable, and we were content with the price we paid. The issues mentioned were minor inconveniences and did not significantly hinder our overall satisfaction.
