Historica building a minute from the cathedral, beautifully renovated, with spacious rooms and comfortable common areas. The owner/host was most helpful and welcoming: he sacrificed his own parking place so we could park our large car near the hotel; he gave us a fascinating insight into the history of the building, which was once owned by alchemosts and still attracts modern day enthusiasts; and he was very informative about the best things to do in Le Puy.
Access is a bit tricky, and parking is not easy for larger cars.

Stunning and unique medieval townhouse - so atmospheric, right in the heart of the old town with a gracious host, Pierre who really made myself and my daughter feel at home.
