The host Bernadine is such a lovely lady. I booked after being discharged from hospital and she made sure i have a comfortable stay for recovery. Rooms are clean. The area is quiet and peaceful.

Breakfast was superb and well done. My kids raved about the French toast. Thank you Bernadine! The home is very tastefully decorated and has charming period pieces with modern touches. The rooms were cozy, clean and immaculately kept. The grounds are lovely and the garden is very welcoming, I just wish we'd visited in summer so we could enjoy the pool.

I travelled with my twin six year old daughters and mother in law and didn't enjoy being asked to keep noise levels down immediately upon arrival because there are guests who work long hours. We obviously had no intention of being loud, but kids will be kids and found myself shushing them constantly. Having travelled a long way from the US to Eswatini and to Johannesburg, that's the last thing I anticipated I'd have to deal with. Yet, on several accounts we were asked to be quiet. Having these encounters felt intrusive, particularly when we were behind closed doors and hadn't acquiesced to entry into our space. Unfortunately we felt like we were heavily monitored and I discussed this with the host upon our departure. We also had 4 large bags and didn't have space in the rooms to open our bags to retrieve our stuff. We had to resort to opening bags in the hallway which was not ideal. Please read the rules carefully. Visitors are not encouraged/allowed. Despite the beautiful grounds, we couldn't have my friends and her kids over for pizza.
