Studio Sternen

Sehr zentrale Lage, gleich an der Gondel, am Laden und am Restaurant. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Alles war sehr sauber, sehr gute einfache Ausstattung,perfektes WLAN.

Küche etwas eng, aber das ist auch auf den Fotos ersichtlich.

The view with the moutains around is amazing. I liked the location, the host was very friendly. The room is cozy, clean and spacious for 2 people. I highly recommend.

Sehr freundliche eingerichtet. Klein aber fein. Gut ausgestattet in der Küche. Jedes Eckchen ausgenützt. Saubere und zweckmässige Wohnung. Gratis Parkplatz. Wir durften das Auto länger stehen lassen.

Der Preis ist für Zwischensaison schon ordentlich hoch.

We stayed at the studio for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is very conveniently located, close to the bus stop (bus 158), close to the cable car station (direction down to Meiringen, or up to Bidmi, Mägisapl and Alpen Tower) and right accross the local villae store to get all groceries and fresh bread you need on a daily basis. There are plenty of wonderful hiking routes in the vicinity and we totally enjoyed a few movies at Kino Meiringen (not-dubbed!) Christian and Elisabeth are wonderful hosts: very kind, lovely and responsive to any questions. We cooked our selves in the studio and needed an extra frying pan (for preparing both Rösti and a bratwurst ;-)) Christian immediatly provided us with the extra utensile. The kitchenette is fully equipped, including..... sharp kitchen knives! ... a rare find at vacation stays. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like roses, the area is really very quiet. The view is gorgeous, we spent sipping our morning coffee on the bench in the sunlight, just right outside. We felt welcome and wabt to thank our lovely hosts for the warm welcome.

The only minus point we can think of: We are quite tall (1.82 and 1.87 m) and the two ceiling beams are lower than that. So we had to stay sharp while walking around the apartment, bend our head at the correct time, to not bump into the beams. Something we did not mind at all dealing with.
