Joan and Gideon were extremely accommodating and helpful. Joan's place is within walking distance of restaurants and shops, as well as the Marina. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed getting to know everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

we could not get into the premises as nobody answered the doorbell and I eventually had to return to Cape Town from Veld drift which is a few hundred kilometers back from where I started my trip for the day
If there was a receptionist that could have opened the door when I was ringing the bell three times with 30 to 60 minutes intervals
