We had a great time and loved the area. The family made many wonderful memories from riding bikes, wild horse tour, climbing light houses.
The house was nice but needs a deep cleaning. The yard had not been mowed and it was an issue around the pool because the grass was tall and ant hills. The red ants bit and they got into your bags if set down.
We totally enjoyed the house and pool but strongly recommend that they take as much pride on the outside as they do on the inside. We swept the area under the stairs because it was really dirty.

We had a great time in this house for a family vacation. Nice open floorplan and 2 ovens in the kitchen. Great location - close to beach access and restaurants. My only complaint is there are multiple balconies, but no place for our group to sit after the kids went to bed. There were 2 seats on each level.

The house was very large and easily accommodated our group (3 couples and two singles). Each room had its own bathroom which made things very easy. A couple blocks to the beach; not a bad walk but just enough of a distance of tire carrying several typical beach things. But there is a public access with parking (if you can get a spot) or drop off for people and things. The house had typical cosmetic issues due to high usage but overall very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

You might find a house like this in the Italian country vs Kill Devil Hills. Almost over the top decor with beautiful amenities (master bath great but there was no outside shower? Good grief!!) Also the fancy marble stone floor in kitchen and family room was broken/ cracked in several places many in direct walk thru kitchen, dining area and family room. DO NOT rent this house if you have little children. Accidents waiting to happen w cut feet on the broken floor. We had all adults but it was ridiculous that almost every day one of us would find another broken piece of stone/marble.
Pool and hot tub were very nice. Probably 12-15 min walk to beach access lot so we packed up car every day. You wouldn’t want to walk w kids or having to carry much. Wouldn’t stay here again.
