San Andreas Suites

Andrea was a fantastic host, very helpful throughout our stay. His sister welcomed us at check-in, explained everything clearly. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a separate bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, and walk-in closet, making it comfortable even for longer stays. It's located on a quiet street, with free parking around in the neighborhood, which made traveling by car very easy. There's also a bakery and a Conad supermarket just a short walk away. The historic center is about a 15 - 20 minute walk.

The host of the property Andrea was very helpful and kind, he showed up himself for the check in and explained everything to us in detail. He even had prepared a map showing areas to visit, restaurants to go and the historical landmarks to see etc. which was very helpful. The room we stayed in was really spacious; with one bedroom, a small living room with an open kitchen, a bathroom and even a walk-in closet. For families who plan to stay longer, this may come very handy. If you travel with a car like we did, free parking in front of the facility isn't a problem at all. We have traveled to many parts of Italy many times and I can easily say that this was the easiest one. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same thing for the historical part of Lecce. Located conveniently on the entrance floor, carrying your luggage is not a problem. The facility is about 20-25 minutes walking distance from the old town so we drove instead of walking. The apartment is located on a quiet street with trees and there is a grocery store (Conad) just a few meters away from the property.

The location was perfect. The staff were very helpful explaining us how to get to the the old town and offering us to have coffee. The last evening we were allowed to use the air-conditioning for heating. The kitchenette was well-equipped.

It was very cold, the radiators were not working. In the breakfast room it was simply freezing. The Wi-fi reception was excellent but the Internet was quite slow. The breakfast was quite poor: 3 cakes for 2 people.
