Comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location.

Apartment is in a quiet and peaceful location. Right behind it are woods and mountains. Clean air, filled with the scent of pine trees! Parking is close to the apartment. It's super convenient that parking spaces are assigned to each room and numbered. We didn't have to worry about our car's safety. The supermarket is a 3-minute drive away. The apartments are clean and well prepared to welcome guests. A wonderful spacious kitchen! The kitchen has a balcony overlooking the valley and mountains! There is a large refrigerator, a spacious pantry, a coffee machine with capsules, and lots of high-quality dishes. Along with your accommodation, you receive a SaastalCard. With it, you can use the bus and many ski lifts in the valley for free, which is very convenient. And, of course, the hosts are very attentive! They gave us clear instructions on how to check in. They were always available and responded quickly to our questions. Thank you, Kirsten!

A microwave would be a nice addition to the kitchen. If you are large, you may find the shower a bit cramped...

Comfortable and nice apartment. The bathroom and kitchen were new, and the kitchen equipment was very complete (there was even a fondue pan!). The apartment was on the edge of Saas Grund. It was easy to get around by car, and the bus stop was nearby. Check-in was easy, and any additional requests were quickly taken care of. We hope to come back to this apartment.

Great accommodation for a relaxed holiday

The Carmena apartments is a great choice if you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday location. Everything you need is provided and the appartement is spotless clean. Very well connected by bus to nearby interest places, easy access to cable cars and in a short time you can ride the Metro Alpin and arrive at 3500m. The valley citizen passport is a real treat, making the cables cars and the buses free in the summer. I certainly recommend.

Dovolená v Saas

Krásný a prostorný apartman, výborně zařízená kuchyň a postele byly velmi pohodlné. Ocenili jsme i venkovní posezení s výhledem do zeleně a udoli. Super byla i karta Saas, s kterou jsme mohli využít autobus a lanovky. Byla to super dovolená a děkujeme moc i hostitelum. Nemáme co vytknout.

Unvergessliche Erlebnisse

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ob Wasserkocher, Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Toaster, Kühlschrank mit kleinem Gefrierfach sowie Mikrowelle und Backofen. Dazu im Badezimmer wurden Handtücher bereitgelegt und es gab auch einen Föhn. In den Schlafzimmern hatten wir genug Platz um alles zu verstauen. Und das Wohnzimmer verfügte über einen Fernseher und DVD Player. Es gab zudem noch Gesellschaftsspiele, Bücher und eine große Auswahl an DVDs. Sehr gut ist die Anbindung an den Postbus. Dieser befindet sich nur wenige Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt, und bringt einen zu diversen Zielen in SaaS Grund und in kürzester Zeit auch nach SaaS Fee. Die SaaStal Card haben wir jeden Tag benutzt und konnten so alle Seilbahnen dort nutzen. Am praktischsten ist es diese ins Wallet auf das Smartphone zu übertragen. In SaaS Grund haben wir öfter die Bäckerei aufgesucht die ein leckeres Frühstück macht. Ansonsten ist das Hotel Eden für ein Drink am Abend zu empfehlen und auch das Restaurant Bergheimat würde ich empfehlen. Ein Highlight des Aufenthaltes war natürlich der Murmeltierweg. Hierfür holt man sich im Tourismusbüro Mumeltierfutter und fährt dann die Seilbahn Spielboden hoch. Am WE kann es hier voll werden vielleicht deshalb einen Ausflug in der Woche planen und man bekommt garantiert viele Murmeltiere zu sehen und auch zu füttern. Der Besuch des Allalin ist auch ein Highlight. Hierfür unbedingt das Metro Plus Ticket kaufen um mit der "U-Bahn" ganz nach oben zu fahren. Ein Besuch des Drehrestaurants und des Virtual Allalin ist hier Pflicht. Ein Weiteres Muss ist der Ausflug zum Hohsaas, Längfluh und zum Mattmarker Stausee. Mit dem Zug von Visp lässt sich auch die italienische Stadt Domodossola besuchen um hier ein Eis oder eine Pizza zu genießen. Die Fahrt dorthin beträgt ungefähr 40 Minuten.

Excellent séjour. Appartement très confortable, fonctionnel, moderne, propre. Tous les équipements nécessaires sont là. On peut déjeuner dans le jardin attenant. L'hôte est d'une grande amabilité, et répond rapidement. Il y a un parking, et l'appartement est au calme, tout en restant proche d'un arrêt de bus. La location donne droit à la carte de gratuité/réductions sur les transports, ce qui est très appréciable.

Lit un peu mou, mais c'est une affaire de goût. Rien de rédhibitoire. On aimerait un peu plus de vaisselle, ce qui économiserait des lavages vaisselle.

Super appartements fonctionnels, très propres et bien décorés. La navette pour le ski est à 3min de marche. La vue depuis les appartements est très belle. L’endroit est calme. La propriétaire est très sympa, attentionnée et disponible. Tout est très pratique. Nous reviendrons certainement.
