Stay with a historic touch in a Green Valley

Unique property on a historic domain within An Abbey established 1000 years ago. Surrounded by nature and with magnificent walks nearby, which offered sweeping views over the Meuse River.

Not much to dislike, the building is quite narrow, so there is no real seating space for everyone together except the dining table

Superb location, with one or two simple to fix drawbacks.

Fantastic location, being so close to the Abbey and beautiful scenery, perfect for walks around & from the property. Very close to Namur but far enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Totally unique and atmospheric

The beds (very important) and property in general were clean; however, the kitchen left a lot to be desired. Some food in the fridge was off & the coffee machine was leaking because it had not been emptied, dirty glasses in the cupboard, very limited soaps and so forth; pity as this is such a beautiful and engaging property. Had it been up to the mark in this category I wouldn’t have hesitated to visit again.

Vier Nächte in einem historischen Kloster - eine beeindruckende Erfahrung.

Unkomplizierte Schlüsselabgabe, ein sehr hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, ein tolles Appartement in historischer Umgebung & die Ruhe eines mittelalterlichen Klosters. Was will man mehr? Hier stimmt wirklich alles, gleichzeitig ist man gut angebunden, um kleine Tagestrips in die nähere Umgebung rund um Namur, Maredsous, Charleroi oder Lüttich zu unternehmen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und warm trotz Wintereinbruch. Das ganze Klosterareal weiß zu überzeugen, wir kommen sicher wieder!

Eine Bedienungsanleitung für den Pelletofen hätte viele Sorgen ausgeräumt, aber der Gastgeber war auf Rückfragen vorbereitet und hat umgehend seine Hilfe angeboten. Es gibt kein Sofa.

Bij aankomst werkte de elektriciteit niet. Onmiddellijk verholpen na een telefoontje met de uitbater.

Très belle expérience fabuleuse dont nous nous souviendrons longtemps

Nous avons adoré. Le lieu insolite magnifique, la qualité des équipements de la literie, l'environnement exceptionnel. Bravo et merci d'avoir réhabiliter un lieu historique rempli d'âme et d'ondes positives, dans un lieu calme et serein avec une telle intelligence et pragmatique et accessible à tous. Le restaurant ancienne chapelle qui garde son âme bravo et merci. Un lieu incontournable ! Merci aussi à la disponibilité et la gentillesse du propriétaire. MERCI !

Au départ, avec quatre enfants et deux entrées, ça a été une répartition qui a nécessité de la réflexion, mais très vite chacun a trouvé ses marques. Nous avons passé un moment familial exaltant.

Logement confortable, spacieux dans un cadre idyllique.

Super logement au cœur de l'ancienne abbaye qui mélange authenticité et le confort attendu par les voyageurs. Nous avons apprécié le calme et la sérénité de l'endroit et de se balader dans le jardin au petit matin. Le restaurant à proximité vaut vraiment la peine de s'y attarder. Une belle carte, de bons produits et une cuisine au feu de bois qui ravira les amateurs.

Le seul point qui pourrait être amélioré est le confort de la literie même si cela ne nous a pas empêché de profiter pleinement de notre séjour.

Boven verwachting.

Fantastische setting; wakker worden met zingende vogels; topkwaliteit bedden; authentiek gebouw, mooi gerenoveerd; prima keuken; nabijgelegen stad Namen is leuker dan we dachten, vooral de citadel met de kabelbaan waarmee je naar het centrum gaat.

Als je slecht ter been bent zijn de trappen omhoog misschien een probleem. Verder kun je niet op een luie bank tv kijken, dat moet vanaf de hoge tafel.
