THALASSA VIEW RESIDENCE

We stayed in a Studio apartment, which was equipped with everything necessary for a week-long stay for a couple. It’s clear that the property was built recently; everything looks very modern. Location is good: 20 min walk to the seafront of Argostoli (and turtles spot) 5 min to the nearest shop Plenty of beaches around Marianna cleaned the apartment every day and was very welcoming; thanks to her, we were able to check in early upon our arrival. I would also like to give a special mention to Isidora, who arrived right as we were checking in and shared recommendations for the best places on the island! And the sunsets in this place are something else—you won’t regret it

The location and views are fabulous and well maintained and clean.

The ceiling height of the bedroom was too low at the edges and difficult if you are taller than 5 feet 8. Also bathroom door height was too low.

We have stayed before and are return customers. The facilities are excellent with fantastic views of the sunset. The location is excellent to walk into lassi and only a short distance to Argostoli 20 min walk or short taxi journey. The owner of the property keeps in touch via WhatsApp and make sure you have everything you need.

The location is great, comfortable walking distance to beaches & Argostoli (if you are quite fit - there are some steep patches). The balcony of the flat was nice & big, with an amazing view - perfect for sundowners or yoga! The flat was big & comfortable, with sound-proofed windows & block-out curtains in the room. The host left us a bottle of wine & Greek sweets as a welcome gift, which was very nice.

The main reason for my 6 rating was the sewerage smell of the apartment - there was clearly a plumbing issue that was flagged to the host a few different times, but it was not sufficiently dealt with. The cleaning lady tried to use drain cleaner, but it didn’t work… it was very unpleasant to constantly have this smell. The host didn’t follow up with us to see if it was fixed, even though we asked for a professional to come sort it out. The additional pillows provided were very hard & uncomfortable, but the cleaning lady was very helpful in switching them out.
