Stella Marina - Porto Pirrone Paradise Beach

Our one-week stay in Leporano was absolutely perfect, thanks to the outstanding conditions provided by Marcello and his lovely family. Stella Marina is exactly as shown in the photos – a beautiful house with a huge yard and two stunning, spacious terraces, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stress-free holiday. The bathrooms were large and comfortable (including the outdoor one on the terrace), the beds were cozy, and we found the house spotless and perfectly arranged upon arrival. Marcello even welcomed us with snacks and refreshing drinks, which was such a thoughtful touch. One of the moments we appreciated most was when Marcello and his family came to pick us up from the bus station in Leporano and helped us carry our luggage to the house – and they did the same when we left, making sure we reached the bus station easily for our trip back to Bari airport. Such kindness is rare and truly appreciated. The location is fantastic: just one minute away is Cocoon’s Beach, a rocky spot perfect for an early morning swim at sunrise, snorkeling, or even scuba diving. In about 5–7 minutes on foot, you can reach one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever seen – Spiaggia di Porto Pirrone – with crystal-clear turquoise waters, fine golden sand, incredible cleanliness, and shallow waters stretching far out, making it perfect for relaxing swims. There’s even a beach bar and restaurant with very reasonable prices. We also had free access to umbrellas, sunbeds, and beach chairs, which made our beach days even more comfortable. The nearest supermarket is just a 15-minute walk away, and Leporano offers plenty of lovely restaurants serving delicious food. This accommodation is perfect if you’re looking for peace, privacy, and an authentic Italian experience – we mostly met locals on the beach, which made our holiday in Puglia feel truly genuine. The independent villa was spacious ( for at least 6 perhaps 8 people), spacious outdoors and gardens, very well equipped and as new. when we arrived there was more that we were ever given as welcome and courtesy goodies both on the table and in the fridge. we were impressed with Marcello’s very fast reaction to even the most minor requests. His dad ( Mimo) who lived a couple of villas next to ours, was extremely welcoming and his kindness and friendliness were beyond our dreams. Mimo brought us a 5 little bottle of his own good red wine , a day later figs and grapes from his farm, croissants on the day we left etc.. he was a delight to talk to and genuinely nice and friendly. if Mimo is ever up north in Italy where we live , Mimo is most welcome in my home as I told him in fact. one of the best if not the best sandy wonderfully turquoise beach in puglia is about 8 minutes walk and perhaps the second best ( in my opinion) is 10 minutes drive. the sea is 150 m tho rocky at that place but good for diving in or fishing. I thought Sardinia’s waters were the best I have ever swam in , this region is much better in my opinion. good food and cheaper region too. will be back.

nothing to be honest

Very clean cosy and tidy place. The owner was very polite and kind. We had an early flight and he brought us breakfast at 5.00 am. I recommend the place and the surrounding area.
