The absolute cheapest hostel of my entire stay, but with outstanding hospitality! The staff keep everything spotless and clean rooms immediately after check-out. I arrived before 11:00 AM—well ahead of the standard 3:00 PM check-in time—and they kindly gave me access to my room right away!
The location is super convenient, right near the train station. Even though there is no elevator, staff insists on helping carry heavy luggage up. Large personal lockers outside the room help save space. A very cozy and welcoming hostel!
The room is extremely small—it feels like a single bedroom squeezed with 2 bunk beds for 4 people, leaving only 1 to 1.5 door-widths of walkable floor space. Luckily, I was only staying for 1 night! Unbeatable value for short, budget trips.

There are some lotion and cleaning milk for the girls who forgot to bring their cleaning supplies, which are considerate.
However, the house style is mechanical style which was quite loud and noisy.

The owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating! All the facilities were very clean! The room was cool at night and each bunk had curtains for privacy. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes from the Hualien train station and bus station. I also felt very safe leaving my luggage while I went sightseeing around the city (on the day I checked-out) because the front door requires a passkey.
No towels are provided, so make sure to bring your own.

Everything was perfect. Brad has been very welcoming, this hostel is extremely clean and quiet. I would recommend it for sure!!
