Comfort Hotel Norrköping

Really nice staff and very helpful in general.

Maybe it would have been nicer to have a slightly bigger room as we had the extra bed for my son, but probably the room was ”set” by the fact we brought our cat with us 😊

Great location, clean, comfortable and the soundproofing was really good. very convenient if you have a car to park and use their underground car park

Everything was really good. I guess it would have been even better if there was a kettle in the room and a toaster in the breakfast area

My favourite thing was getting an unexpected free upgrade from a single to a double room! :D It was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. A highlight was certainly the bathroom: Finally a hotel bathroom with enough counter space and some hooks for the bath towels! Great water pressure too and the water got hot quickly, which was so nice to relax after being outside in the winter cold. The bed was a little softer than I personally prefer, but still very comfortable, with good pillows & the room was very quiet despite being on the ground floor right on the main street. I slept well! But what particularly stood out to me was how exceptionally pleasant the staff was! From the lady at check-in who joked about how hard it must be for me to deal with a bigger room, haha, to the sweet night auditor, and the ladies who stocked the breakfast buffet. Due to my returning very late at night, I was also late for breakfast, but was given a box to pack some food for on the go. At this point, I will admit to sneakily taking quite a few tangerines, but they were too delicious & called my name. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and comfortable!!

The designer lighting in the room looks cool, but is ultimately quite dark. If you actually need to see or find something, you'll have to use your phone's flashlight. Might be a Swedish thing, every hotel I ever stayed at in Sweden is on the darker side. I'd prefer to have the option to choose between "ambient lighting" and "light up the space" myself.

Staff were really great and so was breakfast. Received room upgrade, so spacious and clean. Very basic though, no tea making facilities or fridge. Very comfy bed, but room was a bit too cold for my liking (unusual in Scandinavia). Dial said 22 degrees but it wasn't. Could have alerted staff but didn't so that's on me.

I had thought there would be a proper bar/restaurant on site but it's essentially a large lobby (tastefully decorated) with sofas, tables etc where you order drinks, snacks and limited food options from the reception. There is also a fridge with some packaged sandwiches you could buy.
