About this villa rental
Villa Joya on a secured resort has 3 bedrooms with air conditioners and 2 modern bathrooms and has recently been completely modernized.
The large porch has 2 large canopies, under which you can lounge and dine, as well as places to sunbathe on the edge of the swimming pool. The spacious private swimming pool of 6x4 m contains magnesium salt which has a healing effect for skin and people. A wonderfully cool wind blows through the house and over the porch. In addition to many tropical plants, the tropical garden also houses many tropical birds.
The villa is located in a closed villa park close to the beaches of janThiel (1500m), the Spanish Water with all possibilities for water sports such as windsurfing, kite surfing, sailing, diving, snorkeling and beach entertainment also at 1km. For hikers and mountain bikers, the salt pans of Jan Thiel are just around the corner, with flamingos and other beautiful birds, where beautiful routes are waiting for you.

For if you want to look up the crowds, Mambo Beach and the old town of Willemstad and the Anna Bay can be reached in 10-15 minutes by car.

This was my family's second stay at Villa Joya. Jack is a great host, and Armand the property manager is very responsive and helpful. The villa is beautiful, very close to Mambo and Jan Thiel beach, has a great private pool as well as the larger gated community pool nearby. I highly recommend!!

We stayed at Villa Joya for a week with 5 year old twins, and highly recommend it! The villa was very clean, with a full kitchen stocked with everything we needed to dine in. My kids loved the on site pool which was very clean, and there is also a larger community pool a short walk away. The villa had some board games to play as well, which we enjoyed in the evenings.
You have to pay extra for electricity and water usage (this is common anywhere you stay on Curacao), but it only cost us about US $40 for the week for electricity, and we ran the air conditioners in three rooms every night.
The villa is located a short drive from Jan Thiel beach, and Mambo Beach is also nearby (which is a larger beach with a swimming pool option so we preferred that one).
Two grocery stores are close by, as well as a pharmacy.
Jack was a great host - very responsive in answering questions by email before and during the trip. While we were there, Armand (the property manager) was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or issues (we had only minor issues like figuring out the TV, and the refrigerator alarm went off a couple times but nothing major).
All in all, it was an incredible experience and we would definitely stay here again!

Het huis voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen, what you see is what you get! Mooi huis met alle faciliteiten en fijne centrale ligging. Voor herhaling vatbaar.
