We've stayed before and will very likely return again as we travel throughout the Maniototo. Brooke is an excellent host.

Parking but not a big issue

Clean, had all we needed. Big comfy bed. Nice linen. No kitchen as in cooking facilities but had crockery, cutlery, toaster & kettle. Complimentary breakfast. Cereal, bread, butter condiments. 2 plug in heaters that more than keep us warm. 2 X fluffy bathrobes. Parking at the door. An eclectic decor that I loved. A nice bathroom. Heaps of hot water and good water pressure. Added bonus. Heaps of comfortable chairs. A full size couch, a rocking chair and 2 X lovely antique chairs.

Nothing. It had all that was needed. Warm and comfy.

Breakfast was generous and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts were excellent and the rooms are beautifully decorated with modern wallpaper and newly covered, but antique style furniture. A very comfy bed with electric blanket. The room had a lovely counter to work on to prepare food for the road - and to serve the generous breakfast.

We liked everything so this is not a criticism but a suggestion - maybe install a stand with a small drying rack next to the basin for the washed dishes, and some hooks or a cupboard to hang a few clothes / jackets in the bedroom, since it was a big room.
