The room was large, bright and comfortable. The walk in shower cubicle was as we requested. The food, both breakfast and dinner were superb.
There was no fridge in the room, which was south-facing so it was extremely hot. We were unable to open the old sash windows and had to ask on the second day for someone to come to the room to open them. We had 3 fans working all the time we were in the room to try to cool it down a little but it was still too hot, hotter than any of the other (public) rooms. We realise this was unusual ly hot weather but there should have been an air-conditionig unit in the room.

Beautiful property and grounds. Exceptional breakfast. Staff were brilliant
Our room was the smallest in the hotel - cosy though! The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and couldn’t open the window. Issue with bedding was sorted promptly- very helpful response.
