Located only 12 km (8 miles) south of Florence, on a 20 acre private estate, this two-story shingled traditional Tuscan villa dates back to 17th century. After a complete renovation, this luxurious property provides now a great space, modern comfort and privacy, while still reflecting the quintessential ideal of the Tuscan country house. The exquisite décor of the interiors exudes an understated elegance. The preserved original fine details and materials, such as old terracotta bricks, the stone façade, the big open-hearth fireplace and wood beamed ceilings, welcome the guests in a timeless, serene and magical retreat.

Second Floor:
-King bedroom with walk in closet and en suite bathroom with tub and shower stall

Each bedroom is equipped with a modern AC unit

OUTSIDE FEATURES
The villa opens out onto a covered porch provided with a generous dining table and a furnished lounge area. From the outdoor spaces is possible to enjoy amazing views of the Tuscan famous hills. The manicured garden is hedged for privacy, and a gentle path leads to a secular oak tree, under which is set a second living area with design couch and armchairs above the organic shaped private salt water pool and the sun deck provided with sun-beds. The villa is surrounded by 20 acres of land, cultivated with 600 olive trees and vineyards

The villa boasts sophisticated charm and extremely convenient location both to Florence (20 min by car) Impruneta village (0.5 miles walking distance), and the Tuscan most popular sites. Its sense of calm, thanks to its relaxed furnishing, color palette, and warm hospitality, is an ode to a more gentle and sweet life
The extensive grounds ensure privacy and plentiful options for rest and relaxation, and the staff is aimed to provide a high level of hospitality to all visiting guests
The owner lives on-site in separate private quarters and is available to assist with guests’ needs and requests throughout their stay

In line with our commitment to thoughtful hospitality and responsible sustainability, electricity is charged separately based on actual consumption. Meter readings are taken at both check-in and check-out, with usage billed at €0.50 per kWh consumed. As a general guideline, electricity costs typically range between €30 and €60 per day, depending on guests’ consumption and energy habits during their stay.
We kindly encourage our guests to be mindful of energy usage by switching off lights and air-conditioning units when leaving the house. Our climate-control systems are highly efficient and cool the rooms quickly, making it unnecessary to leave them running when spaces are unoccupied.
We believe that conscious energy use not only helps preserve the beauty of the environment surrounding us, but also reflects the spirit of care and respect with which we welcome our guests and thoughtfully steward our estate
- In the winter months, heating is charged at 15 € /hour based on approximately 8 hours of typical daily use to keep the house warm and comfortable throughout the day. The system is timer-controlled and can be adjusted to suit the guests’ needs.
- Security deposit: € 700,00 in cash at check in
- Elopement or boutique wedding fee (maximum capacity: 25 guests)

La Quercia is absolutely stunning. The villa is homey and inviting, with lots of wonderful places to gather over a meal, a glass of wine, or morning coffee -with the outdoor spaces even more beautiful than the rooms inside. The gardens are immaculate and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Margherita was incredibly patient and kind, working with me for months prior to our visit, to plan the trip of a lifetime for our group. She graciously coordinated our transportation, our bike tour of the countryside, as well as the most incredible classic Italian home cooked meal served in our villa. Veronica worked all afternoon creating the most unbelievable meal for us - it was absolutely delicious. The villa was perfectly intimate and private, but at the same time, we felt incredibly welcomed by our hosts, as though we were long lost relatives that they invited to stay. Our only feedback for improvement is 1) the beds are very firm. (I think it might be an Italian preference) and 2) the lighting could be better, especially in the bathrooms. Seriously, book it. You won’t be disappointed.

We cannot adequately express the joy of staying at this beautifully kept estate. It was the Tuscan country experience we were hoping for. We are so very glad we made time to spend at the house on some days. If we had scheduled each day we would have missed the peace and daily discoveries that came.Margherita was a thoughtful and gracious host. Loved hearing about her families legacy while we enjoyed a beautiful dinner prepared with food from their garden. Make sure you make time for that experience!We were sad to leave but hope to be back!

The overwhelming of the house location was Great Followed by transportation to go anywhere Easy, To the request of any needs or ideas were to go or shop were excellent, well maintained property And clean , host was always available and Made your stay very comfortable

Absolutely stunning estate. Marguerita and her staff were wonderful. In villa dinner was exceptional. Did not do the cooking class but should have! Maybe next time. Very convenient to Florence and chianti region with our rental car. Truly a memorable experience even in the 100 degree weather.
